The perfect location, quiet, and really just right for my husband and I.
My husband and I stayed here for four nights, celebrating our 15th anniversary. We arrived really early, but Brian was super accommodating and had us in by 12:30. He was easily available via text and messaging through HomeAway when we needed him, which honestly wasn't much.
The location was the best part! It is one block off Bourbon Street but you would never know it! SUPER quiet inside and the building is secure. It is also only two blocks from Canal Street where you can quickly pick up the trolley to other areas such as the Garden District and City Park. There are a few wonderful bars within one block that were so much better than anything on Bourbon Street including the Jazz Bistro, RF Martini Bar (awesome happy hour martinis and jazz), and the Carousel.
The sleeping arrangements were ok. The beds and pillows are so-so, and the kitchen was a little scarce but it had everything we needed- toaster and Kurig coffee maker for the morning.
We were too busy for the pool so never made it there. The only issue we ran into was the last night when a really rowdy group checked-in next door. They kept us up until about 4 a.m. with lots of arguing in the atrium-like hallway. But other than that one night- it was truly so quiet.
We would stay here again if ever we came back to NOLA.
Good times minus the front door code
The condo itself was fine. It did what it needed to do for our stay. It was super close to bourbon st which was nice. The frustrating part was, we couldn’t get into the building when we got there. Another group of people staying there had to tell us that the code didn’t work on the weekends and that we needed a key fob. Well we contacted the landlord for the key fob and he was unable to give us one. So needless to say we had to count on other people letting us into the building until another couple told us another code that worked. Otherwise we had a good time in NOLA.
Would not rent again
This unit does offer a great location, close to everything in the quarter. However, the unit could have used a good cleaning, sleeping arrangements were very unsatisfactory. No linen, pillows, sheets. Bed is cheap and very uncomfortable. TV had a blur on the right side, lamp was broken. Limited dishes. My trip was 4 girls, we noticed it was very hard to get ready due to the lack of light and mirrors. I would not rent this property again.
At Crescent City Accommodations we strive to maintain cleanliness even if we have to change cleaners. An upgrade to extra, modern furniture is on the way. Occasionally, guests miss our overstocked linen and towel bin until they call us. We try to multiply our dishes by 3 or 4 for each 5 guests. Thus, we supply the dish washing liquid. We have a TV in both rooms so guests will never miss they're favorite show in the event one is malfunctioning. Our condo is stocked at all times with extra bulbs. We thought having a mirror in the bathroom, one in the bedroom and a third portable would do.
Great location and a great deal!
You can't beat the location! We slept 4 comfortably and were as close to the action as we could want to be.
Untit exactly as described, clean and well stocked. I will definitely stay again.
Location, location, location
The location was outstanding if you are looking to be in the quarter.Brian was great also. Could use a new bed otherwise outstanding!
Enjoy your stay in the heart of the French Quarter with jazz, live entertainment, dinning and dancing. Visit our many antique shops. Schedule a riverboat cruise for lunch. A ride on the trolly-car or horse and carriage would be ideal for a pleasant and relaxed view.
