This fully equipped 2 bedroom-2 bath condo is truly a 'Hole in One'.

A full kitchen including microwave, blender and dishwasher as well as a washer/dryer are just some of the amenities.

Two large bedrooms have plenty of closet space as well as en suite bathrooms.

The master bedroom has a work desk with hard wired internet perfect for the business person on the go.

The living room has lots of seating area, DISH TV, and FREE WiFi.

Louvered windows all around provide an endless stream of Caribbean breezes.

This unit does not have A/C...

The front patio has an amazing ocean view and is the perfect place for morning coffee or and evening nightcap.

The enclosed lanai off the kitchen provides a more private outdoor setting.

The Reef is a gated complex with a large pool, tennis courts and free parking. There is a golf pro shop where you may rent equipment for the 9 hole golf course on site. There is also a lunch counter/deli aside the pro shop.

Duggan's Reef restaurant and bar is walking distance and on the beach for great dining, drinks and fun with new found friends.

A short drive to Christiansted will bring you to even more great restaurants and shopping.

Activity brochures will be available upon check in and also at the reef office where you will also find a book and DVD library.

At 'Mikes' you will find a quiet hideaway with so much in walking distance, yet only a short drive to shopping and sight seeing.

A rental car is highly recommended but not essential, making 'Mikes' a true 'Hole in One' !!

Harriet and Meyer Rosenbaum visited St. Croix for the first time in 1978and purchased Villa 428. Harriet is an artist in the Washington, D.C. area and Meyer was an ob/gyn who delivered over 5,000 babies. (A St. Croix restaurateur is one of the babies he delivered in his career.) Meyer (called Mike by his friends) and Harriet utilized the amenities of the Reef, explored the island and developed a nice circle of friends. Harriet continued visiting St. Croix after Meyer’s passing…………three generations of their family have enjoyed Mike’s Place and the family will continue visiting the island…which is not only part of their family history, but holds a special place in their hearts.

A tad tired.

Beautiful place and great view. Nice manager - helpful. New appliances.

But they need to spend one week's rent and buy all new lamps, a toaster, a coffee maker, new cheap beds and linens(Kmart and Home depot got ya covered). (OK, two cheap king beds would drag out a second week's rent.) I doubt the owners ever stay here. Great golf course, quiet area and close to good food or a casino if you like that. I would repeat with this unit if they freshen up the place (and get all the light switches and bathroom plug-ins to work).

I will direct the owner to your review so they're able to see what needs to be replaced for future tenants. The property is beautiful and the grounds speak for themselves. A well maintained 18 hole golf course is great for advanced and intermediate players alike. It also serves as a great location for a morning walk to stretch your legs. Being on the East end allows you to visit some beautiful beaches and casino, as well as Point Udall and restaurants. We hope you stay with us again soon Michael! Thanks, Ben

Great choice

We stayed 10 days in Jan/Feb, 2017. Lots of room, GREAT views, everything worked fine (wifi, cable, etc). Lots of misc extras available for your use if needed (coolers, chairs, first aid ...). East end area more secluded so get a car.

Great place for a family trip

We stayed at the Reef for a week with our kids (age 9 and 12) and this apartment worked great for a family. It had easy access to the pool area, and the layout gave space and privacy for us all. The interior is a bit worn, but that don't bother us as long as it is clean an functional. We didn't use the beach, since the waves were too much for our youngest, but Christianstead is only a 15 min drive away, and the Hotel at the Cay has a very good beach, if you want to swim (or snorkel) in calmer water.

Price and location

For the money spent and the travel time between the local food and hot spots it's had to beat this location. It seems as though a lot of the issues in older reviews have been fixed because we didn't have any structural complaints.The property manager was very helpful when needed and gave us our space as wel!! I think This is a great place for small groups who have plans to do a lot of traveling.

A nice surpise...

Almost didn't stay her because of prior reviews, but last minute trip with no where else available. We were pleasantly surprised to find the unit clean and inviting and evidently repair issues have been corrected,

The lanai has a great view of the sea and the beach down the hill is great.

Duggans Reef restaurant is there too and had really good food.

It is quiet and private, but not a far drive at all to Christiansted...

Missed Buck Island which was highly recommended...will do that next time.

Not the one you want to rent

It is a tribute to how much we love the island that we did enjoy this trip. We have stayed at 6 or 7 Reef condos over the years but, this is by far the least attractive. The furniture is worn, and the shutters do not work in all the rooms. The overhead fans are stuck on one speed. Many little things, like objects left in the medicine cabinet, the legs on the chairs for the lanai were rusted off and when we sat on a lounge out front, it broke. The realtor (not the owner) offered to return some money, but the owner has refused.

I'm sure you can do better.

The only full service casino is located minutes away at Divi Resort. We are also close to Christiansted for dining and shopping. Brochures for other island activities can be found upon check in and at the front desk.
