What makes this house unique

As well as the lovely river, there are hiking and biking trails, state parks, nature preserves, and a first class off road motorcycle track just a few miles away, it is a playground paradise

Wish I had more time

  • 5 of 5

I was in the area for a wedding and rented the River House for me and my family to stay in. It is a terrific property and perfectly suited our needs. The only down side was that none of us had time to stay longer and enjoy a full day at the house. Planning to return for an entire weekend very soon. Five stars !

Very Nice.

  • 4 of 5

ThIs house was perfect for our stay. We lease a hunting camp 20 minutes away so it was nice to stay in a house rather then a hotel.

The kids loved swimming in the river and cannonballing off the dock.

The property is in a beautiful and peaceful town.

  • 5 of 5

the house is beautiful and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and everyone had a good nights rest. We enjoyed watching movies in the evening and could all comfortably fit on the huge couch in the living room. The kitchen is easy to use and the table is big enough so everyone can sit down and eat a meal together. The deck is nice and big with steps leading down to the dock. The river is so warm and we had a great time swimming and canoeing. The owners are very friendly and easy to talk to. They answered our emails in a timely manner. We will definitely be back for another stay!

Wonderful Place

  • 5 of 5

What a great place! This was such an upgrade over the KOA cabin we had originally reserved further down river. The pictures don't do this place justice. Great deck and floating dock. Worth every penny. 45 miles of pretty much open river all the way to ocean and we covered all of it. Property was clean and well maintained. The boat ramp is right down the street. Mark (owner) was easily accessible and everything was just as described. I'll definitely be keeping this place bookmarked in case we return to the area.

Relaxing vacation in a beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

First of all, the location is great - secluded, but in a friendly neighborhood. The scenery is amazing! We all loved the house. It's unusual layout (on different levels) was really appealing and fit our group perfectly. The furniture was nice and comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped - in fact we fixed all our meals at the house, so we didn't try any of the local restaurants - but we did shop at a Harvey's just about 5 minutes away.

Great vacation! Sigh...I only wish we could have stayed longer.... it was so hard to leave. We would definitely love to come back and stay longer. The owner is easy to work with and will respond quickly to any questions. We visited the Okefenokee Swamp one day (went to the entrance near Folkton - about 20 minutes away - only $5 for the car pass to get into the park), We took hundreds of photos! We also visited Cumberland Island one day - and plan to visit both places on a return trip - way to much to see and explore in just one day!!
