About the property

Privacy Within Walking Distance To Jackson Village

In the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire, cross over the Ellis River through a covered bridge built in 1876 to the Historic Village of Jackson. Travel down a secluded tree lined road, to a stunning custom built home located within walking distance to the eclectic shops, golf, and outstanding eateries in the Village.

Begin and end your day by relaxing on the front porch.

During the Winter, cross country ski on the trails off the back yard. The rest of the year hike through the pine and birch of this magnificent forest in the White Mountains.

On the first level there is a chefs kitchen, with a huge center island and granite counter tops. The appliances are commercial grade; which include a six burner stove with a double oven, a double draw dishwasher, Thermador Refridgerator with ice maker, and a large warming drawer.

Walk through the arched entrance to the spacious dining/living room featuring hand scraped hickory floors and appealing walnut beams. Relax in front of the floor to ceiling stone fireplace, listen to the surround sound system inside and outside, or dine at the large dining room table under the Swarovski Crystal chandelier. The first floor also includes a half bath and master bedroom suite with a king size bed, a spa master bath, with a whirlpool tub and multi-nozzle shower.

Out the front door enjoy the views, foliage, and wildlife on the rocking chairs from the privacy of the front porch.

On the second level there is a spacious bathroom with granite throughout, featuring double vanities and a large shower. There are two bedrooms; the Moose Room has a queen size bed and the Bear Room has two bunk beds(sleeps 4).

After a fun-filled day on the slopes, hiking the beautiful White Mountains or spending the day at Story Land, relax on the lower level. Watch a movie or the game on the sectional sofa in front of the 52 inch TV with surround sound or sit at the bar with your favorite beverage. You can entertain yourself with a game of Foosball, Pool Or Darts. On this same level there is a bedroom with a queen size bed, full bathroom, and a laundry room.

Location...location...location close to all the activities and attractions in the beautiful Mount Washington Valley.

The home was beautifully appointed, well designed and extremely warm and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time exploring the White Mountains National Park and surrounding areas, while centrally located in Jackson, NH. The Owners were responsive and thoughtful. The home exceeded all expectations as it was beautifully appointed, well designed and extremely warm and comfortable. In the evenings we enjoyed the fireplace, the cozy den and the pool table. The kitchen was fantastic. We would definitely reserve this home again.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

My family of 10 had an amazing one week vacation at this beautiful house. We had plenty of room and the kitchen was stocked. The kids enjoyed the huge yard so much we ate all our meals at the house. We made fires in the evening or played downstairs in the game room. During the day we stayed busy with the many surrounding activities including horseback riding, the mountain coaster, the cog train, Storyland, Diana's bath and Jackson falls. A highlight was the wildlife: black bears, moose, turkey and deer. Everyone thought the vacation was even better than anticipated. We made wonderful memories here.

Perfect fall retreat

  • 5 of 5

The house is perfectly located for easy walks into Jackson Village, while being completely private, set on a beautiful tree lined road with a fantastic lawn for running around with our young children. The house is impeccably appointed, yet extremely comfortable for a family with kids. The master bedroom and bath were beautiful - I felt like we were in a top notch hotel whenever I took a shower! All of the other bedrooms and baths were also extremely nice. The kitchen is wonderful as a gathering spot and has all the necessary pots, pans, dishes, etc. As another reviewer said, unlike many houses, this one is stocked not just with linens and kitchen supplies, but really high quality ones on all fronts. We've been going to Jackson for nearly 15 years, and this is definitely the nicest spot we've stayed - we are already talking about which week to reserve for next summer!

Jackson, NH Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful and comfortable home within walking distance of the village of Jackson. It is set on a large, private yard bordered with woods atop a hill. This setting with patio for outdoor dining along with the game room on the lower level make this a great spot for gathering with family or friends. There is plenty to enjoy indoors and out. The kitchen is huge with a fabulous island and is the best equipped I have ever seen in a vrbo rental. Bedrooms and baths were lovely. Great showers and plenty of towels, soaps, shampoos & body washes. We've done many vrbo rentals around the country. This was the best!
