We are pleased to offer this mountain retreat for your next gateway!
Marta & Leslie purchased this cabin in 2013
We remodeled this cabin to make it more comfortable and cozy. Close to winter resorts, lake, and the new Big Bear Village. 1.2mi to major grocery stores (Vons, Stater Bros, Walgreens), Starbucks, K-Mart, etc.
We enjoy peace and quiet the cabin provides, privacy on the fenced back patio, aroma of the fresh mountain air, and the beautiful scenery of the pine trees. Great location!
"Artie and I enjoyed ourselves so much at Green Pine Retreat! The cabin is so cozy and pretty. We slept so comfortably. During the day we enjoyed seeing the sights in the area. The location is excellent because it's close to everything. It's within walking distance of a little restaurant. However, we tried BLT's in town. It had the best hot chocolate ever, and huge, delicious burgers. We look forward to going back - hopefully for more time next time."
Our family of 3 went after Christmas and stayed 3 nights. The cabin was perfect for us! Clean, a great size t.v (with cable), and a big Jacuzzi that was clean and HOT! The slopes were nearby. I would recommend this cabin.
The Cabin is always clean and well maintained. Great place to stay in big bear.
I was very disappointed when I arrived and looking at the house from the outside. But I was wrong. They remodeled inside very nicely. And very very clean. Also they have almost everything we needed.
It's a little bit close to the neighborhood. But still it has privacy. Didn't bother us at all. Only thing i Didn't like was the Jacuzzi....water was... we didn't use :(
Even We got there pretty earlier than check in time. And some people were still cleaning. We had to wait only 20 more minutes. But They were very nicely and friendly.
My kids were very excited the whole time when we were there.
My family and I loved this little cabin. It's very cute and in a quiet area while still being close to the main road. The jacuzzi was a welcome treat after a 6 mile hike. Marta, the owner, was very helpful and pleasant to work with. She answered any questions promptly and clearly.
The only feedback I have for improvement is the queen bed felt hard to me and the pillows are somewhat flat. They could use to be replaced with some fluffier ones and maybe a foam cover on the bed to soften. That's my preference though.
Overall, loved it and had a very nice stay! Thanks again Marta!!
Our family stay was very nice. The cabin was VERY CLEAN, and had everything we needed for our stay. Very close to everything Big Bear has to offer! We will stay there again. If you are looking for a place to stay in Big Bear this is it.
Really cute cabin that is much larger then the pictures make it appear. Hot tub was great. The only negative thing I could say is it's really close to the neighbors and we were worried about disturbing them because you can hear everything outside. But as long as you aren't super loud and inconsiderate you will be fine. Owner leslie was so nice and let us check out late. Thanks for everything, would definitely stay here again!
