Beautiful property!

  • 5 of 5

Private Mountain Casita says it all. We couldn't have been more pleased with the Conner's casita. It was exactly what we were looking for. The casita was clean, fully equipped, well decorated, and comfortable. The washer and dryer were a big plus for us as we had been on the road for two weeks already. But saving the best for last, location location location. Absolutely stunning. We spent many mornings and evenings just sitting and staring at the mountains and listening to the birds. Pat also showed us where to hike behind the casita. Wow! What fun! Thank you Pat for sharing your casita!!!

Perfect place to stay to enjoy the beauty of area!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I frequently use VRBO to rent comfy homes for our vacations and this house is our favorite to date! Not only was the house comfortable and provided everything we needed to feel at home, but our hosts, Pat and Ashley, were amazing! We immediately felt we had known them for many years. They offered their expertise from everything to hiking to visiting the University of Arizona for the day. We so enjoyed their dogs who greeted us each day, as well as offering treats to their beautiful horse. This is a perfect location for anyone who likes a bit of everything. We were able to enjoy the national parks, the state park, the national forest, as well as great hiking right out the back door! There is also nice shopping and dining nearby (Guiseppe's on Oracle was great!). Relaxing in this comfortable house was just what we needed. Thank you to our hosts!

Best of both worlds!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here! Our casita provided all the comforts of home while being close enough to the mountains and nature to feel like we were worlds away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Grocery stores and shopping on Oracle Road were a reasonable drive away whenever needed. Our hosts, Pat and Ashley, were gracious and helpful. Pat even "introduced" us to the property, trails, and natural environment surrounding the property. Petroglyphs were easily accessible a short walk from the back gate, which was a bit of a thrill for this archaeology buff! Mountain biking trails were accessible off the private dirt road leading to the casita and Honeybee Canyon was just a quick drive to the trail head. There were also plenty of nearby opportunities for hiking. We loved sitting out on the patio watching the birds, bees, and butterflies and, to our delight, listening to the deep quiet. Sunsets were awe-worthy and we made a point of appreciating them every evening. This is definitely on our list of places to revisit!

The location was great and we would stay there again

  • 5 of 5

The location is great for hiking and finding petroglyphs. The property is very well maintained and the owner is a wealth of knowledge of the area. Two great dogs to make you feel at home. Tucson area is a great place to explore and very good restaurants. We have been there twice. We would definitely stay here again if we make a third trip.
