Kick back after a fun day on the Mountain. Relax in the hot tub, sit by the fire, or just admire the scenic Mountain views. Maybe treat yourself to a aromatherapy Epsom salt bubble bath. Let your day melt away here. Great space for 6, with hide a bed sleeps 8.
This is a two story cabin. Each level is a cozy cabin in itself. Two complete living areas, two kitchens, two baths, three small bedrooms, with 2 Large King size, memory foam mattress, and 1 queen memory foam mattress . The dressers are tucked under the bed for your clothes. Also there is a area to hang clothing as well. If you bring your laptop you can stream movies from bed and connect up to a monitor for easy viewing. Fireplace upstairs and wood burning stove down. Large flat screen TV. Games, books, artist paint/brushes.
The Cabin is very well stocked and clean. Its description fits properly! It is super cute, cozy, and was perfectly comfortable for our group of 5 adults & 2 little kids. We loved the openness of the second floor and had a good time socializing and playing board games while cooking. The Jacuzzi was icing on the cake after a day on the slopes. The price was fair. I disagree with another reviewer regarding the position of the TV and the painting supposedly inappropriate for young children, LOL. Both were perfectly fine!!! and we appreciated the large selection of DVDs available for watching and the wifi!
My only comment for improvement is that sometimes we got whiffs of the septic tank while in the Jacuzzi and in one of the bathrooms. I kept blaming my kids until I realized it was the septic tank and not them passing gas, ha ha ha! I know nothing about septic tanks, but someone said that in the winter it is not uncommon for that to happen, not sure... worth getting it checked. Other than that it was great and we wished we could have stayed much longer!
Had an incredible stay at the Cozy Cabin! There was plenty of room for everyone, the two kitchens helped for meal prepping, the hot tub was relaxing, fire pit was beautiful, and the screened in patio was the saving grace from the bugs. The cabin went beyond expectations and made for some great memories and new friends. Thank you!!!
We stayed here the last weekend of April. It is a great house. Kitchen is beautiful and has everything you would need to cook. They do have some basic spices so remember to bring anything you need. Beds were clean and very comfy. The 3rd bedroom is the only real complaint as the head of the bed is under the stairs. We had 6 adults stay and we had a great time. Living room furniture was great and we had fun playing our board games there. Hot tub was wonderful and worked great. We didn't see a fire pit so we brought our own and set it up on the gravel driveway and this worked great. Christine always answered our questions right away and was great to work with. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved this place! So glad that this place has red Christmas lights outside. We came pretty late in the evening, there was snow on the road and this place just popped out. When we first walked into the cabin we felt so warm. We love the big king beds. The kitchen had everything you need like spices, utensils, coffee and hazelnut creamer in the frige, hot coco mix, different types of cereals, and even fish sauce! And so much more. We didn't have time to use the hot tub which would have been nice.
The only things I would like to change: 1st is the position of the TV, high above the fire place. If I sit at the kitchen then I'm ok, but if I sit on the sofa then my head gets tired from looking up. Would like it better if it gets moved to where the painting on the left wall is. 2nd, I thought the painting was inappropriate for family with younger children. My friends and I are all adults so we didn't mind, but maybe change it to something more family friendly.
This place is very cozy and would come back for sure!
We rented the Cozy Cabin for 4 nights this Christmas. The location is convenient half way between Steven's Pass and Leavenworth, at the end of Lake Wenatchee. The map location on the VRBO page was exact. When we arrived, there was fire burning in the stove and the cabin was fully stocked with all items one could possibly need. It was very clean, everything was arranged and easy to find, there were clear instructions for operating the jacuzzi and the wood stove.
It was clear that the owner paid attention to all details and really cares that her guests will not miss anything during their stay. The jacuzzi was fantastic after a long day out on skis!
Although the snow cover was low (none at the Lake), the cabin location would be perfect for easy access to XC ski trails and snowmobile trails. Even with the lack of snow, we got enough skiing at Steven's and some XC trails at higher elevations.
