ROME ITALY PERFECT JASMINE APARTMENT
Enjoy a sunny, private terrace and garden in Trastevere, one of Rome`s favorite areas.
“The terrace located off the kitchen is beautiful”
Hidden on a quaint, small street in Trastevere, one of old Rome`s most chacteristic, traditional neighborhoods. Trastevere is known for its Roman charm, fantastic array of restaurants, bohemian quality with many artists and students, famous palaces, botanical gardens and access to the beautiful Gianiculum hill with panoramic views of the city. It is a favorite area of tourists and Romans alike. Nearby enjoy a vist to the baroque Palazzo Corsini, with collections by masters Caravaggio and Titian.
“Located in the most happening, quintessentially Roman neighborhood of Trastevere, this modern apartment truly felt like an oasis.”
Concierge, driver and tour services.
The apartment is located on a small street, quite close to the Palazzo Corsini and the Farnesina Palazzo. It is a short walk to the Tiber Ponte Sisto bridge to the south or Ponte Mazzini bridge to the north. At the end of the street is one of the buildings of John Cabot University.
“Jasmine exceeded expectations on all accounts, including the greeter, and the car service (recommended)!”
A very special apartment, Jasmine is a wonderful retreat from Rome`s busy streets. It offers the best of city living in one of Rome`s most captivating locations, Trastevere. The apartment delights with selected furnishings and top-quality finishes. Carefully curated with designer furniture and impressive original art, the Jasmine apartment is a happy home-away-from-home which offers comfort and elegance for a memorable stay in Rome. The owner`s artistic aesthetic is seen through cheerful paintings that accent the apartment.
The living room sofa is flanked by two sets of large windows which illuminate the room. The use of space is very clever, making the most of the light and high ceilings. The ceiling is double height, with original wood beams. Two chairs face the sofa. A beautiful desk with wifi to keep in touch if you bring your laptop or iPad, a splash of bold color from the dining chairs punctuate the dining area which seats four. Carefully selected objets d`art and paintings reveal the owner`s, an artist, fine taste. Two large handsome cabinets store dishes and provide extra storage space. The living room area is partially lofted, with the second bedroom and bathroom upstairs.
“Sunny, light bright rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, good heating, clean and shiny bathrooms.”
Beyond the living room is the kitchen and the master bedroom. The kitchen has a gas stovetop, electric oven, refrigerator, pots, pans and opens to a small terrace and enchanting little mediterranean garden with potted citrus plants. A special outdoor space such as this is a huge bonus on top of an already very wonderful apartment. A table and with two chairs under an awning made of traditional rushes invite leisurely meals. Curtains enhance privacy.
The master bedroom has a divisible queen which can be prepared separately as two singles with advance arrangement. A little opening through the bedroom wall the kitchen provides a sight line to the wonderful garden area. The master bathroom is very nice, with large shower, sink and toilet.
Upstairs, above the living room is an open plan loft with the second bedroom separated by a beautiful wood panel screen hand painted by the owner-artist. The bed is queen size. On the other side is a lounge area with day bed which can be used as a separate sleeping space. The adjoining bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet and bidet. Off the bathroom is a very large storage closet, ceiling height is low in this area.
“The beds are very comfortable and the towels are nice and soft.”

Jasmine apartment was just right for our family. We were 3 generations and the configuration worked well. The loft has two separate sleeping areas plus full bath, which grandparents shared with. granddaughter. Son and daughter-in-law had private room downstairs with own bath. Beautiful outdoor dining and garden area. Kitchen clean and well-stocked. Only two small complaints: very poor drainage of upstairs shower and keys to outside doors so bent that very difficult to use. Otherwise, we were very happy with apartment and neighborhood.
Our family of 4 stayed in the Jasmine apartment for 5 days. We were thoroughly impressed with the apartment and its amenities! It was clean, spacious and beautifully appointed! The air conditioning was also welcoming especially after long days touring the city. The apartment's location in Trastevere was also very nice. The area has a lot to offer, especially at night as it is lively and entertaining. The choice in restaurants is excellent!! However, due to the appartment's location we found that the noise at night by passersbys made sleeping sometimes difficult. From Trastevere, we were able to access all the major tourist sites by walking. Overall, we were happy with our stay and with the services provided by Italy Perfect! We would definitely recommend them to our friends!!
Although we had been to Rome a couple of times before we had never ventured to Trastevere. Thus, Jasmine offered a wonderful opportunity to experience an exciting part of Rome away from the major tourist areas. From start to finish Jasmine exceeded our expectations.
The prompt and efficient Stefano’s driving service brought us right to the door and the friendly greeter gave us a detailed tour of the apartment. The open atmosphere and special ambience of the living area (beautiful light, stylish décor and loft) were a great match for our family. As well described by others, the beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall, Jasmine proved a great fit for us-- a couple in our 60s, our son in his 30s and a cousin of about 60.
Further, the location offered a wonderful respite from the busy center of Rome. We had a chance to explore the neighborhood (including the The Passeggiata del Gianicolo and the many incredible restaurants). We loved the Villa Farnesina so much we visited twice. And, our stay happened to coincide with the filming of the new James Bond film along the Tiber.
One point we should note for newcomers is that Trastevere, being across the Tiber, is off the Metro system; so a short walk is necessary to get to the nearest taxi stand. However, all taxi drivers were very accommodating and all taxis metered. On average we could taxi to all the tourist sites for 10 Euros.
All in all, Jasmine proved to be a great home away from home; so we highly recommend Jasmine to others visiting Rome for an extended period!
Jasmine apartment in Trastavere just across the Tiber from Rome was a quiet, sophisticated, comfortable apartment in this medieval enclave of the City. It was within walking distance of all parts of Rome. The hidden local restaurants and cafe bars were warm and welcoming. Stay away from the tourist traps.
The welcome to the apartment was punctual and efficient no hidden charges as in other places.
The apartment itself was even more beautiful than the photos. Very spacious and comfortable for two singles as we were or for two couples or a family. Sunny, light bright rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, good heating, clean and shiny bathrooms. The beds and linen comfortable and cosy. Great outdoor spaces. Excellent free wifi access. A delightful home away from home in Rome. Just beware theatre night and international students abound.
There were 3 flights of stairs but who cares the climb was worth it. Without hesitation I would return to Jasmine and recommend to friends.
This was an awesome apartment in trastevere. It was large enough to have space for 4 adults to hang out comfortably while being in a great part of the city. The layout is nice, charming with a nice back patio and a good kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend it!
My wife, daughter and I spent a week in this apt. In mid October. The apt. Is large, beautifully appointed and quite comfortable. There was enough seating for four people to actually read without feeling claustrophobic. There is an outdoor patio and eating area although only two chairs in the eating area and no chairs in the terrace. The apt. Could work for a family of five though the fifth bed is a day bed. The two bathrooms were more than adequate with spacious (by Italian standards) showers. The only drawback with the upstairs sleeping area is the lack of an armoire for clothing storage(which might make it difficult for two couples). The location is right across from the Palazzo Farnesina about 300yards from the Porta Settimania(sp ?) and away from the frenetic activity of Santa Maria in Trastevere and Piazza Trilussa. Plenty of good restaurants once you pass under the archway in the Aurelian walls(Porta Settimana). I would go back in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone. The people we dealt with both at Italy Perfect and the on site staff were gracious and very helpful. For restaurant opinions check out my Trip Advisor postings. We spent twenty days in Trastevere so there will be a few.
