About Wendy Weinberg
My husband is winding down to the last few years of working. My background in the hotel industry is a good fit for the vacation rental business. In 2013 we moved from Grand Junction to Tucson, where I put this townhouse on VRBO/Homeaway with immediate rave reviews. With our plan to retire and summer in Grand Junction on hold, we bought a condo in the AZ White Mountains to use as a vacation rental. We recently sold it to another family to use as a VRBO. As this is my business, I travel between my properties fixing and stocking up on things for my guests to enjoy. We now have a second property in Grand Junction; a condo at Lakeside, which sleeps 4.
Wendy Weinberg purchased this Townhome in 2012
Why Wendy Weinberg chose The Ridges
We purchased this townhouse to use as a second home and for our future retirement. We raised our family nearby in the Redlands and always liked the Ridges. I lived here for four months to make sure our home is a great choice for your vacation stay. When we bought it we had no idea how much we would enjoy the hiking and biking right outside the door. There are so many trails, you won't do the same one twice. I never tire of sitting on the large deck and looking at The Monument and golf course.
What makes this Townhome unique
Location, Location, Location! The Ridges has so much too offer. Hiking, biking and golf are right out the front door. It is only 5 minutes to downtown Main Street. Once inside the townhome, you are charmed by its serenity. We love the large deck for relaxing and entertaining and the views of the golf course, mountains and Colorado National Monument are fabulous. It is unique with a passive solar heating system complete with a solar sunroom. It is spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a garage.

Comfortable, spacious, and clean. Great deck!
This was our third time in Wendy’s condo for annual cycling training weekend -
We love the comfortable, spacious condo! Everything was clean and tasteful. Communication easy and timely as always.
Warm and inviting, this comfortable home had everything we needed for our family trip. Conveniently located near the east entrance of the CO Nat'l Monument. Comfortable beds and bedding. Kitchen well stocked so cooking in is easy. Communicating with hosts was easy and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!
It sounds like you had a nice family vacation at our townhouse. I'm glad you enjoyed the beds and bedding. You are welcome anytime.
A nice townhouse that is let down by the terrible mattress, sheets and pillows
This is nice townhouse, but the incredibly low quality of the mattresses, sheets and pillows left us missing our hotel rooms. The mattresses are Walmart brand, with thick 3” foam mattress toppers to try and hide the lumpiness of the mattresses. This causes the fitted sheets to come off the mattress just by laying on top of them completely still. The pillows are flatter than the Kansas plains and very hard.
The rest of the townhouse was quite nice, with a well stocked kitchen and gorgeous views.
I'm sorry our townhouse didn't meet your expectations. The queen and twin mattresses were purchased when we started the vacation rental at a local furniture store and they don't get full time use. Only the king bed has the topper on it, as our guests who stayed for 4 months last fall missed their temperpedic bed and purchased it. They and others thought our guests would enjoy it. I'm sorry it fell short.
I was in town last month and was surprised at how tall 3" is. I went out and bought new 500 thread count deep pocket sheets. I will look into why they didn't stay on. If I had known I would have told you where the extra set is. There are 4 pillows on each bed and 2 on the twin. I purposely buy an assortment of pillows so guests can have a choice of firm, flat, feather. I'm sorry you didn't find ones you liked.
We will continue to monitor the topper although the guests before and after you seemed to have liked it.
The townhouse is in a great location - very close to the Colorado National Monument and an easy drive to downtown Grand Junction. There is nice hiking right out the door as well. The house is nicely appointed and comfortable.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and found everything satisfactory and comfortable. I do enjoy walking on all the different trails in the neighborhood. Please come back and see us.
Our time at the townhouse went without a hitch, The landlord, Wendy, is the best that one could ask for. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this property.
Great location. Easy to get into town and to the monument. Great views! Great place!
Thank you for your nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed your 4+ month stay while you were remodeling your new home. We enjoyed having you both and thanks for staying on top of the property. Good luck in your new home.
Very well-equipped unit with wonderful views
A terrific place to spend some time. Very close to hiking, biking, shopping, restaurants, breweries, wineries. The unit is lovely and there is so much to do in the area.
I'm glad you enjoyed your one month stay in Grand Junction at our townhouse. You were here for perfect weather to enjoy the views from the deck and sunroom. Please come back soon.
We are located in The Ridges, an area in The Redlands. 3 miles to quaint downtown Main Street and 20 minutes to Fruita or the Palisade wine country. Ride your mountain bike out the door to the Tabeguache Trail, well known for its single track or cycle the iconic 23 mile Colorado National Monument. Hiking, golf, and tennis are located in the Ridges.
