About Wyn Walker
My Brother and I built my Log Cabin in the Clouds 10 years ago with our own 4 hands. I have had such wonderful guest and so many return year after year that my dream was to build a larger Log Chalet that would accommodate up to a party of 6 very comfortably. With my brother Kerry's architectural design help and the help and encouragement of many of my guest, family and friends, I am proud to present, The Log Chalet on the Clouds! So many of my guest have stayed year after year that many of them have become my friends. It is through their return visits and referral of friends that made this all possible. We also now own Blue Heaven River Tours which you can find all the information by simply Googling Boat Tours in Chattanooga and check out how much fun you can have on the beautiful Tennesse River where you see the Beautiful Downtown Riverfront, hear all the wonderful History, explore the Little Grand Canyon of the South and even venture through the Chickamauga Lock! It's your own amazing private tour and yes we give Special rates to our Cabin Guests!

Why Wyn Walker chose Downtown Chattanooga
I hope all the 5 Star reviews from my Log Cabin in the Clouds and my Log Chalet on the Clouds along with the pictures will speak for itself! The most amazing thing about this log cabin is that we built it on the side of the bluff with an amazing view of the beautiful Sequatchie valley. It is the longest valley in the world with sunset views that are simply amazing and at night it looks like a thousand candles are lit in the valley below.that blend in to the twinkling stars in the night sky! I have even had guests that live on the Island of Maui tell me what a beautiful view we have! We also want you to know that it's not only the view that people love, but also that there is so much to do in Chattanooga and that our Cabin is perfectly located close enough to be convenient, yet secluded on top of the mountain for plenty of peace and quiet! Also everyone loves our rates as well! when we first built the Chalet so many of our repeat customers from our One bedroom Cabin wanted to know what we were going to charge. So after comparing our $270,000.00 Chalet with other cabins we decided to keep our prices low by offering a party of 7 to stay for a nightly price of $240.00 to $250.00 per night depending on the season. However because we had had so many couples and smaller groups or families stay at our One Bedroom Cabin we decided to give special rates that discount the cabin even more! Click the rate details to see that as a couple or a party of Two or rates start at $165.00 to $175.00 per night and you just add $15.00 per night per person for each additional guests! This makes it even affordable for a couple to stay in our beautiful Chalet for as low as $165.00 to $175.00 per night and a family of 4 for as low as $195.00 to $205.00 per night. Our Guests love this because it makes it fair for everyone and after all it is less wear and tear when we have less guests on both the Cabin and our Septic system! Our Goal is to give great prices and 5 Star Service to all our Guests!
What makes this Cabin unique

The property is exactly as depicted in the photos and is gorgeous. The location is exactly what we wanted - remote, but not too far from stores, restaurants, etc. It's an incredibly relaxing quiet location with amazing views. The kitchen is adequately stocked and there's a grocery store directly at the bottom of the mountain when you come in. The beds were comfortable. They have DirecTV, but we never turned it on (which is unheard of for us!). The place just invites quiet reading or sitting on the deck. The hot tub is well maintained. I'd be stunned if anyone stayed here and didn't say to themselves "maybe we should retire and move here".
We enjoyed this mountain retreat with a gorgeous view each night after adventuring out during the day. We appreciated the peacefulness allowing us time to reflect and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
It is absolutely protection on all levels!
We stayed at the cabin in June and when we arrived there it was more beautiful and clean then I could have ever seen in any of the pictures! It was raining and it did rain for most of the days we stayed , but because it literally felt as though you were in your own house or an even cozier one it was still amazing! The owner is so sweet and helpful and honestly one of the nicest guys I have ever met! Oh and if you are worried about the beds DONT because they are so comfortable (we slept like babies with out any aches in the morning) Sorry for all the explanation points but that’s just how amazing the cabin was! I didn’t want to leave the view was unlike anything else! It was also in such a great location we didn’t have to drive father than 1 1/2 hours to do anything most places just off the mountain 40 minutes which made it worth being so high up. We did Ruby falls, white water rafting , rock city, the lost sea adventure , and even found a little honey hole on the side of signal mountain that locals go to to swim with a natural water pool and water fall. It was just the best place and vacation we have had to date! We will be back and our friends are going to book this cabin for their vacation!
We had a good stay. Could have used a little deeper clean however it was clean.
We were in town for a race, and this cabin was the perfect balance of close to town, yet still high up on the mountains. Excellent choice!
The chalet was really nice and very comfortable. Things were sparkling clean , the view was out of this world, and the owner and manager were exceptionally helpful. It was the perfect base for venturing to the interesting surrounding area and returning to peace and quiet.
Secluded high on top of the Cumberland Plateau, yet only 25 minutes from downtown; Too many attractions to list, but I will try. Ruby Falls, Rock City, the Incline Railway, The Aquarium, Blue Heaven River Tours, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Discovery Museum, Southern Bell Riverboat, Imax Theater, Chattanooga Zoo, The Riverfront, Horse drawn carriages, the cks amphibious vehicle's, AT&T ballfield, Ocoee whitewater rafting, the Cumberland trail, Prentice Cooper state forest, Caving, Golf, the Riverboat explorer, and so many restaurants and hiking trails you could stay for a month and I wouldn't run out and much more! An for the convenience of my guest I have installed two sets of washers and dryers.
