My wife, pre-teen daughter, and I stayed here for over a week and had a wonderful time. The apartment has plenty of space to spread out, a very comfortable bed, and a good kitchen (with a washing machine). We could open the windows and relax, and really settle in. The street is filled with an endless variety of food shops: chocolatiers, patisseries and boulangeries, fromageries, produce and wine shops, and more. You could have a vacation here without going more than two blocks away and be quite satisfied! Don't miss dinner across the street at Fuxia though, which was excellent. The apartment is also very near several Metro lines so it was convenient for getting around. The wifi was also very good, it's worth mentioning.
My husband and I stayed in this apartment in the middle of Paris and it was perfect for our needs. The one-bedroom accommodations were exactly as advertised—clean, contemporary, and packed with all the necessities, including WiFi Internet and a full kitchen. Situated in a very charming section of the city, this place offered us full access to the best museums and restaurants. Great nightly rate and easy to book online. Manager is attentive and very responsive. We had no problems and will use again on our next trip.
I just returned from a fabulous one week vacation in Paris. This petite apartment on Rue des Martyrs met our needs and was simply delightful. Though modest, it had everything we needed; including TV, Internet, and free calls home to the US. Completely furnished and very clean… it made us feel for a short while as if we lived in Paris. Cooking in was as fun as eating in one of the many Bistros on our street. Our favorite spot was Le Pain Quotidien at number 56… just up the street, where the bread is made fresh every day.
The local markets on rue Martyrs are overflowing with fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, wine, fresh bread, and flowers. There are plenty of ATM machines, pharmacies, and the local eyeglass place even repaired my eyeglasses for free. Shop keepers, waiters, taxi drivers…. They were all tolerant of our limited French and helpful in translating our attempts to speak French. The location made it easy to get around, whether by Taxi, Bus, or Metro. The apartment was easy to book and the welcome was exceptional. Definitely will return next year!
