Absolutely perfect!

  • 5 of 5

I'm not sure where to start with this other than to say it was absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful inside and out. Great furnishings and amenities. When we opened the door, we were amazed at the interior. Though we didn't cook, the kitchen was well-equipped. The accommodations couldn't have been better. As the description says, the house is close to everything. The owner, Phil, called us twice before we arrived to give us information and to give us tips on what to do. Very nice guy! We can't wait to go back! Randy

Everything you need from a home

Really nice and like my girlfriend called it "cute" home away from the city. We felt very comfortable and so did our dog. Really close to Carr St where all the fun is at. Highly recommend the rental and we will be back in the Spring

Better than a hotel room!

  • 4 of 5

Nice small house close to Casinos. Very convenient to get to. Older home with modern conveniences such as dish network and Wi-Fi. Overall a good stay.

A few suggestions for improvement: List the name of the Wi-Fi Router in written instructions and upgrade the bed mattress and sheets to higher quality.

Quaint, Perfect for what we were looking for. Very Clean and Comfortable. We Felt Right At Home!

  • 5 of 5

Phil and Vicki were Wonderful Hosts. Very easy to talk with, quick to return messages. Friendly beyond, I feel like I have a new friend in Phi. The house was exactly what we expected. Older and very charming. They had it done in nice holiday decor as were were there between Christmas/New Years. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens /towels were all very nice!

We were able to bring our dog which was a huge plus. We were able to find places to walk him and enjoy right around the house. The walk to downtown is great. Quick and easy going, a bit of a climb coming back, but that is part of a good walk!

We felt right at home in this quaint little cottage. The perfect little get away place to stay in Cripple Creek. We will stay here again when we come this way.

Thank You Phil and Vicki!!!

This charming bungalow was perfection.

  • 5 of 5

We've had several lovely visits to Cripple Creek this year and this was by far our favorite. Phil and Vicki's description of their home is modest and they are very responsive to inquiries. Phil was very helpful in answering any questions and offering suggestions for activities around town.

For our little reunion, this cozy home was enchanting; the perfect "home away from home" experience that we needed. After each day's adventure, we played card games well into the evening with no worries of disturbing anyone as we would have in a hotel or B and B. The well equipped kitchen allowed us the flexibility to prepare meals or enjoy local restaurants as we wanted. Cripple Creek's Pioneer Take and Bake Pizza was a treat and a fun first time experience for us. This comfortable cottage is a short walk to downtown shops, restaurants, and casinos. The town offers plenty of history and nostalgia mixed with all the modern conveniences. There is no shortage of scenic drives and hiking trails - Horse Thief Falls was a favorite for us.

When you find yourself in Cripple Creek, we would highly recommend staying in this home.
