Wonderful house in a cute little town.
The house is so cute and charming, it was well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the location. The backyard was a real treat.
Thanks for your kind words, Tanya!
Beautiful and Cozy!!!
We loved our weekend in your home. It was equipped with everything we needed and is within walking distance of everything, yet far enough away to enjoy quiet, relaxing evenings. I'm not sure if we were doing something wrong, but we were unable to open any of the windows, so it did get a little warm at night even on the cooler evenings. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would have been a definite plus, but we found the two fans in the closets and they helped a little. The interior was gorgeous, and with all of the original, antique trimmings and door knobs, it reminded me of the home I grew up in. It just felt "comfortable'... like I was home! Thank you for a most enjoyable experience.
We appreciate your kind words and comments, Marlene. Happy you found the fan and encouraging us to investigate a ceiling fan.
Pehaps we will have one for our guests next summer.😀
Very nice stay
We really enjoyed our stay, its a beautiful comfortable house.
Many thanks for your comments, Tom...😀
We Very Much Enjoyed this Charming Place
We went to Cripple Creek for the history not the gambling. This clean and well appointed little house only added to our delight in the mining history of this place. We hope to return before too long.
Everything you need from a home
Really nice and like my girlfriend called it "cute" home away from the city. We felt very comfortable and so did our dog. Really close to Carr St where all the fun is at. Highly recommend the rental and we will be back in the Spring
Better than a hotel room!
Nice small house close to Casinos. Very convenient to get to. Older home with modern conveniences such as dish network and Wi-Fi. Overall a good stay.
A few suggestions for improvement: List the name of the Wi-Fi Router in written instructions and upgrade the bed mattress and sheets to higher quality.
Historic mining town with museums, narrow gauge train, gold mining tours, museum tours, 110 year old jail/museum, visitor center.
Small town situated at 9400 feet above sea level. Sound financial local government with shuttle bus services at nominal cost.
Half a dozen special events from Donkey Derby Days to a Winter Ice Festival.
