Spacious, comfortable, sunset-in-ocean views every night, directly on a turquoise blue water beach.

Our family of four, including a teenager and a 6'6" 21 year old had plenty of room in this wonderful 2 BR apartment for two weeks over Christmas. Insanely beautiful turquoise blue water with waves gently breaking greet you every morning! Master BR is huge - very comfortable, and bath updated with nice finishes/shower. Two of the best supermarkets in all of Southern Barbados are right next door and 1/2 block up the street. It's just 27 steps from Unit 2's covered patio (past the pool and garden) to placing your feet in the waves. Located directly on Worthing Beach, at high tide, the six steps down from the garden have the lower one submerged in the water - just fantastic. The surf is not too high, not too flat - just perfect for relaxing for adults, boogey-boarding for kids. Beach area around Worthing is not busy at all - just a few vacationers were spotted daily up and down the beach - peaceful. Rocks close to shore just 100 yards to the west of the apartment have nice snorkeling, and 10 yards to the east the sand is soft, fine and very light colored. Worthing is located in middle of the more-active, less ritzy South coast - The Gap and Oistins are to the East, and Accra/Rockley and Pebbles/Brownes/Carlisle to the West. Zed-Rs pass by all day with their fun tootling horns inquiring if you need a ride for $1 USD to anywhere on their route (street sided of unit was busy all day, and certainly louder on Friday and Saturday nights). Apartment very nicely equipped for self-catering (cook at home) with 4 burner stove, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and supplies. Anne, the property manager, is an informed local and very helpful and available if you need her. Condo complex cleans the garden and tends to pool each morning. Some beach toys provided. 2 sets of patio chairs for having coffee or meals outside. Great cross-ventilation reduces need to run the A/C, but the air conditioning in both bedrooms works great. Includes WiFi and a parking space. We loved morning and evenings reading or daydreaming on the back patio, or on the communal lounge chairs by the pool/in the grass & palm tree garden just a couple of steps away, and taking frequent dips in the ocean, then the pool, with an outdoor shower rinse before repeating. All night these areas are well lit. Walked to the Tiki bar on east end of Rockley (past Champers), had a fantastic catamaran day cruise, explored the island country by car. A perfect fit for our group and we didn't want to ever leave!

Great Getaway

Location was perfect. The apartment is on the ground floor with easy access to the pool and ocean. Beautiful location, beach was awesome. Grocery store across the road. Unit is well equipped and we had a great time. Thanks Angela and Anne!
