3 Bedrooms 2 1/2 Bath...across from Cheesman Park/Capital Hill area
The home has 2 to 3 bedrooms upstairs. Master has queen size bed with down comforter, it's own luxurious marble bath with a 5 foot Jacuzzi tub, flat screen TV, and walk-in closet. Bedroom #2 has a Queen size bed, down comforter, big comfy reading chair, doomer ceiling, very light and bright. Bedroom #3 is a loft with buildt in shelves, work space, high domer ceilings with overhead fan, walk in closet and a very comfy new queen size futon. This is a great sleeping space for kids, family members or friends. The shared bath has a great shower with double shower heads, lots of fluffy towels, very light with an operable sky light. Bedroom #2 and #3 can be closed off to make a very nice two room suite with bath.
Two living areas give plenty of room to spread out on the comfy down couch or huge sectional. The gas fireplace not only gives charm to the room, but also gives off heat and makes that area even more cozy. Sit back and enjoy a good movie on the 50' Dolby LCD digital surround sound flat screen TV with Netflix set up on DVR player. Downstairs there is another work space off the living room. One of my favorite rooms is the powder room off the living room with original stain glass, lots of art work and a huge baroque gold mirror ...Great Color!!!
One of my favorite spots to enjoy the afternoon is on the front porch. There are a couple of comfortable wicker lounge chairs to just sit, get your book, a cup of tea and enjoy being in Cheesman Park.
In the spring, the back yard is a great place for morning coffee, afternoon lunch, read the Sunday Paper or have a back yard BBQ. Lots of comfortable seating and plenty of umbrellas. Two fountains, raised garden beds, lots of planters, aspens for shade and a Weber natural gas BBQ. (just turn it on).

Car: Not Necessary
Location couldn't get any better..We are in Capital Hill one of the most fun and interesting neighborhoods ..directly across the street from Cheesman Park, wonderful for that morning run or just an afternoon stroll. The neighborhood is an eclectic mix of beautiful homes, hi-rises and a few apartments.
The Botanical Gardens, just a short 5 minute walk. A beautiful spot with a great music venue in the summer and lots of activities going on all year.
Rental bicycles are available outside the Botanical Gardens and at 12th Street and Columbine. You can catch the bus at the end of the block to go Downtown(16th Street, Convention Center, Preforming Arts Center, Civic Center Park and more)...
For convenient food shopping..Whole Foods is just 6 blocks and King Soopers Market is 5 blocks.
Loads of great eateries close.. from the best breakfast places, lots of ethnic spots, to some fantastic, 'written up' restaurants featured in 5280 Magazine. City Park is just 2 miles, with golf, the zoo, I- Max Theater, boating in summer and museums. Great Farmers Market in the Spring.
Cherry Creek village is 3 miles away, with some of the best boutique shopping, great restaurants, lots of spas..it's a fun spot to window shop. It has many banks, a Whole Foods and Safeway.

About the owner: I chose Denver in 1995. Coming here after the loss of my husband. We lived many years in the Northern California mountains where we raised our family. This just seemed the right spot for me. A city with both excitement and beauty. The mountains only a stones throw away. I have two darling grandson, that enjoy the Colorado life. I also divide my time between here the mountains and Mexico. I have other rental properties.
Why the Owner Chose Cheesman Park, Denver, CO, USA:
I love Denver. Moving here from S Cal, I knew I wanted to be a part of these exciting city. I drove all over the city getting my barrings for sometime .. Old homes were my focus. My first year here I bought a 100 year old loft in a church. Cozy and unique. Then one day driving down Race, there it was. The sign had just gone up. It was pretty rough. Walking in the front door sold me. The entry and the gorgeous staircase I knew this was it. Lots of hard work a year later, I moved back in....it was truly a labor of love...the neighborhood, with lots of fun cafes, great coffee spots, two blocks to the Botanical Gardens and across the street from Cheesman Park was just what I needed at the time. It's been a house for me.
