Welcome to Silverlake!

This charming & peaceful 2-story Silverlake Hills 2-bedroom duplex is a true gem! With its great natural light, accommodating layout, and serene deck, this ideally located LA home makes a wonderful setting for your next getaway.

Nestled in the quiet hills of Silverlake, this property is just moments away from wonderful entertainment. It is the perfect place to retreat to after your day exploring the diverse LA landscape.

Upon entry of the main level, you’ll notice hardwood floors throughout. A quick trip down a short hallway, and you will be greeted by the beautiful landscape masterpiece that you might mistake for hanging art. However, you’ll soon realize it is a large window revealing the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounds you. The ample living room is equipped with all you need: a comfortable pull- sofa, lounge chair, coffee table, TV, Netflix streaming and cable.

Adjacent to the living room, there is a dining area that is fit to accommodate up to 4 guests and can be extended to fit up to 5 guests.

The kitchen is beautifully remodeled. It's spacious with a sleek modern design and equipped with stainless steel appliances including a gas stove/oven. From the kitchen, you have a view of both the living room and dining area. We've equipped this kitchen with all you need: dish towels, utensils, glassware, plasticware (for the kiddos!) plates, pots, pans, coffee maker, wine glasses, etc.

For convenience, a half bathroom is located on this main level just off the short hallway on your way to the stairs.

The bedrooms are a quick trip down the stairs to the lower level. The two-story layout is ideal for added privacy, either for a multi-family stay or amongst your own family.

The master bedroom has a gorgeous solid walnut wood bed with a king-sized pillow-top mattress, linens, dresser, and ample closet space. Access to the peaceful deck with a view of the Silverlake Hills is located off this bedroom.

The guest bedroom has a twin bed.

*An additional 2 guests can be accommodated by the living room sofa bed.*

The master bathroom is located on the lower level, with a sink, shower and tub.

WiFi access is complimentary.

Also on the lower level is a utility room with a washer & dryer you may use. Our housekeeping staff may occasionally use this room to run a few loads of linens; however, the room is locked and has a separate outdoor entrance. The housekeeping staff will respect your privacy and will not enter your unit.

GUEST ACCESS.

During your stay, you will have sole access to this home, including the private use of the outdoor deck area specific to this unit. Please keep in mind, there are two other units in the building: one below you and one next to you. All units have their own entrances and are completely private from one another.

On occasion, our housekeeping staff may use the washer/dryer in the utility room connected to this unit. The utility room has a lock, and you can simply leave that locked during your stay. We value your privacy and will not go into your space.

Fantastic views!

We loved the location of this property, and the great deck and views of the Silver Lake hills. Once we discovered the "secret stairs" it made getting down to Silver Lake Blvd easy to access, with restaurants etc.

We ranked it a 4 because parts of it are a bit worn, and it was not well cleaned when we arrived - VERY dusty. The kitchen is good size and adequately outfitted for a 2 wk stay, tho not great. Also, the owners were a bit stingy about small amenities such as no bath soap, only 2 rolls of TP and 1 roll of paper towels, necessitating buying those things. We would stay again, but I would be prepared to expect to have to clean it myself or hire some one :(.

Had a very nice stay here. The property was clean, the view off of the deck was wonderful, bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our brief stay here in this very trendy area of LA, -- and I'm a tough critic because we have stayed in a lot of properties and have a VRBO property. The only way things could be better is if they had nice kitchen towels and soaps/more paper towels more readily available (just makes things more inviting) and replaced the deck cushions (which I'm sure get harsh conditions with the sun). Overall, a very nice stay.

Great place, lovely location

Return guests, really enjoyed our stay this time as well. Lovely digs, quiet with beautiful views. We also appreciated the management company’s quick response to a couple of questions we had.

Great location but the home has seen better days

What was once a cool house is now run down, musty and unkept. The oven was taped/sealed off, and the dishwasher had old standing water in the bottom which rendered it unusable as well. We contacted the owner (a management company) and after 2 days they let us know they understood it was broken….but did nothing about it during our stay. The mattresses sorely need replacement as well. The view is great and the neighborhood is super quiet with an easy drive to sights and downtown museums, but we would never stay here again.

Welcome to Silverlake! This gem of a neighborhood is home to some of LA's finest coffee shops, restaurants, bars, retail shops, and one of a kind vintage shops. Enjoy feeling like a local, by walking down either Sunset blvd, or silverlake blvd to explore these fine local artisan shops unique to Los Angeles. For those exercise enthusiast, we recommend you explore the Silverlake Resevoire. Its a great place for an early morning jog or after dinner walk.

Though there is plenty to do right within your neighborhood, its refreshing to know you are Less than 15 min to Downtown LA, Arts District, Griffith Park Observatory, Greek Theater, Los Feliz, 101 fwy, Hollywood, Echo Park Lake, Dodger Stadium, Atwater Village.
