Quiet, sunny (and snowy!) location, close to Davos but away from the crowds

Very old, quaint chalet full of character. Definitely not suited to elderly people and small children. We will certainly return as there are great backcountry ski routes behind the house, alpine skiing nearby as well as cross country. The driveway is plowed but with heavy snows you will need chains to go and down it.

Silvester in Davos Frauenkirch

Wir hatten schöne Tage in dieser historischen Hütte bei Davos. Die Küche ist modern renoviert mit allem was man braucht. Die übrigen Räume sind mit niedrigen Decken typisch für diesen Baustil. Alles in allem sehr urig. Man kann direkt von der Hütte wandern oder Skitouren/Schneeschuhtouren gehen. Ideal.

Wir haben in diesem herzigen, urchigen und heimeligen Häuschen ruhige und erholsame Tage verbracht. Genossen haben wir den Ofen in der Stube, er hat am Abend und bei schlechtem Wetter gute Dienste gebracht. Alles war tip top. Bei einigen Türen heisst es Kopf einziehen 😉
