Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

This property is well-maintained, well-appointed, quiet and comfortable. Most importantly, it is in a terrific location. The Santa Fe Plaza is a short walk which is a great feature, because parking during the weekend can be a challenge. Be sure to check out The Burrito Company on Washington (near the plaza) for a casual lunch or breakfast. Bendelier National Monument and Taos are great day trips and worth the effort. The owners are quick to respond and easy to work with. One minor housekeeping issue prompted us to contact the housekeeper who was also quick to respond and very pleasant.

A convenient location for a Santa Fe visit.

  • 4 of 5

A great place for our stay in Santa Fe. An easy walk to downtown and good driving connections for additional exploring. The porch opened up to the nicely treed inner courtyard which allowed for cooler afternoons. Furniture and bed were comfortable and well set up. The kitchen had all that we needed.

First Time to Santa Fe -- Perfect Property for a Couple

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect property for a couple looking to enjoy Santa Fe and its environs. It's an easy, quick walk into town and the property is beautifully appointed with lots of small touches. We loved that there was coffee, spices, paper towels and a thousand other little things already available when we arrived. The complex itself is quiet and easily accessible—while we were visiting the trees in the courtyard and outside the windows were in bloom and it was idyllic.

We've booked and worked with a lot of property owners through VRBO, HomeAway and other services and interacting with John & Carla was the most professional and painless reservation experience I've had. All information was communicated clearly and well in advance so we were never left "wondering" about our reservation or decision to book "Casita de Carla."

This was our first trip to Santa Fe and we were focused on sight-seeing and and day-hiking Bandelier and Santa Fe, but if you're up against a rainy day—or even if you aren't—do not, DO NOT miss taking a trip to Santa Fe's newest art installation by the Meow Wolf collective, "House of Eternal Return." It's another trip in and of itself. And do plan ahead to treat yourself to dinner or lunch at the "The Shed". You won't be disappointed.

Just Perfect - OH - SO - Comfortable :)

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casita de Carla - The property is well maintained and just as described. There are several helpful notes posted to help visitors feel at home right away. Every detail is well thought out and the owner has tastefully decorated to capture a "Santa Fe mood". While in Santa Fe, we especially enjoyed the food tour on our first day, to learn some history and amazing restaurants which helped us plan the rest of our stay.

We would definitely stay at the "Casita" again - Thank you, Carla!

Great place within walking distance of the plaza!

  • 5 of 5

Loved this condo! It is all exactly as pictured. We enjoyed being able to walk to the plaza each day. Condo was so cute and comfortable. Loved the easy electric fireplace as it's been unseasonable cold in Santa Fe. Nice to warm up with a book after a long day out. We did so much each day - great art galleries, shopping and restaurants all close by. I was most impressed by reading the guest book and looking around that the owners had addressed every single suggestion. It's clear they care about their guests comfort. Everything was very nice. The bedding was quite warm and comfy. My only suggestion would be to pack and eye mask if you like to sleep in as there is a sky light that makes the bedroom bright once the sun is up. We would definitely stay here again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the 5 star review. We bought the condo because of its location, within walking distance of historic plaza, restaurants, and skiing. When a guest has a good suggestion we try to accomodate so our future guests can take advantage. We hope you stay with us again. Regards, Carla
