4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, Hot Tub,
Just a hop, skip, and a jump from Tahoe City’s restaurants, shops and Commons Beach of Lake Tahoe, is our 4bd, 2ba mountain home. Built in 2006, our mountain home feels brand new, but retains that old Tahoe charm with mountain rustic style. The hot tub is BRAND NEW 2014. There is also a working elevator (please inform us if you will need to use the elevator it is disabled unless necessary) and a wheelchair accessible bathroom. Bikes! Paddle boards!
You are so close to Tahoe City you can walk to Rosie's for breakfast in a winter white-out storm or head to the golf course for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and sledding (perfect for kids)! In the summertime, you can walk to the weekly concerts at the beach, the farmers market, river rafting the Truckee river, playgrounds, golf, literally everything is just a stone's throw away.
The great room of our home is perfect for hanging out with the whole group. The kitchen opens to the dining and living area for the textbook place for the whole crew to hang out, whether cooking, dining, or chilling in front of the Niners or Giants game, you're all right there. The new dining room table is large enough for 8 adults with seating for 3 more at the bar.
Our 4 large bedrooms are flexible to accommodate many different groups. The Moose room has a king sized bed with high ceilings and views, the Bear and Trout rooms each have brand new queen beds, and rustic charm, while the Rabbit bunk room has 2 sets of bunks with brand new mattresses and linens for the kiddos. There is a TV and cable in the bunk room so the kids can watch a movie and rest after a day on the mountain, while the adults enjoy a big dinner.
We just bought our dream come true mountain home this November, and can't wait to share it with you. In our first few weekends visiting our new home, we can be heard saying;
“Seriously, you could walk to Jakes in a blizzard comfortably”.
“How many steps do you think it is to Rosie’s? 150 maybe?”.
“I can’t wait to ride cruiser bikes to Commons beach and go swimming.”
“Lets go snowshoe or cross country ski through the golf course!”
“I guess I could just bring a pull cart and walk to the golf course club house”
“Wow we can ride cruisers to raft the Truckee river!”
I have been renting places in Tahoe my entire life. I was always a huge fan of places that had toys for me to play with. So I have begun to fill our garage with toys to share with my family, friends, and renters. I have 2 pairs of snow shoes, men's and women's. Go stomp through the golf course. We have 5 sleds for sliding down the mountain. This summer we are going to add cruiser bikes and stand up paddle boards. We added the bottom deck and hot tub, winter deserves hot tubs! We have also started putting together a coffee table book to guide you through all the good times to be had, places to eat, secret beaches, and hidden treasures.
We have spent the last couple months getting it ready for you, come enjoy it!

About Robert Kelly
As a life long Californian, growing up in Danville, going to college in Chico, moving on to San Francisco, and settling into Marin County, I have been coming to Tahoe my entire life. This year I made a life long dream come true and bought our mountain home for me to share with my 2 daughters and wife, family and friends, and our guests.
Robert Kelly purchased this Cabin in 2013
Why Robert Kelly chose Tahoe City
My wife an I fell in love with this property right out of the gate. Its truly a rocks throw away from everything you could want. We LOVE walking to Rosie's for breakfast, and Jake's on the Lake for some fine dining and a glass of wine. Over Christmas we discovered a sled hill. My wife myself and our two daughters decided to go on an adventure by stomping through the snow covered golf course that is a half a block away. When we came across the sled hill, cross country skiing all run by the golf clubhouse. Where we rented some sleds, grabbed a 'Double Chip Shot' from the bar and hit the sled hill. perfect for our 2 and 5 year olds first sledding experience. Score! My wife is fired up to try the cross country skiing throughout the golf course, and I can't wait to walk to the clubhouse for some golf this summer. Our cabin has a fantastic design, its great room is a combination of the kitchen, dining and living room all under the same high ceiling. Its the perfect area for hanging with all your loved ones at the same time.

cozy & convenient
cozy & convenient...we had a great stay! just as posted. well stocked. comfortable bedding. middle of town. not far from the slopes. owner was responsive. kids ruled the down stairs while adults enjoyed a nice open floor plan upstairs. a few feet of fresh snow overnight buried the grill, but we were able to dig out the hot tub. thanks for having us!
Fantastic Home in Tahoe City
Really enjoyed Robert's house in Tahoe City for a ski trip in March, 2108. We were able to easily walk to many restaurants, bars and shops. The grocery store is only two blocks away which was very convenient. It was less than a 15 minute drive to either Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows and the hot tub in the back yard was awesome after skiing. Very comfortable home and will for sure try to stay there again soon. Jim from Michigan.
Great house close to lake and downtown
We loved this house. 9 of us stayed here and enjoyed cooking in the wonderful kitchen, playing games in the living room and relaxing in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. We also loved being able to walk to the lake and downtown area. I would definitely stay here again!
Great stay! Great location!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house was a perfect fit with all the amenities we could need - in a very convenient location to boot. Would love to stay again!
The house was very clean and the location was outstanding . It has all the amenities you need.
I was so thankful when I realized how close the house was to the beach . On the 4th of July we were able to walk to the beach and watch the fireworks . There are paddle boards , a kayak, chairs , etc for you to use which was so nice. The kitchen has everything you could ever need! The beds and bedding were super comfortable. The deck outside was beautiful and neighbors were very friendly . I will definitely return :)
Great place for a family retreat
This roomy and comfortable house was perfect for all of us -- grandparents, parents, and grandkids. We liked that the beach, groceries and restaurants were all in easy walking distance, allowing us to do a minimal amount of driving.
Truly a rare opportunity to walk everywhere in Tahoe City
