Nice apartment and lovely and warm. Easy to get out and about as tram station accross the road. We enjoyed our stay here and everything you needed was in there. Thank you.
Great apartment for the price & location
If you don’t speak German, do some research prior to going about public transportation and things to see. We had no problem getting around and enjoyed our visit thoroughly
Great City Stay
1st time in Cologne and loved the quaintness of it. The apartment was homey and in a location a short taxi ride away from the old town. Honeger's was a fabulous restaurant a few blocks away from the apartment. Anci at that restaurant was very hospitable and told us what we needed to experience while in Town. She suggested a fabulous brewery and history tour called The Kolsch Guys. What a unique and enjoyable way to take in a new town.
Clean, nice in a safe neighborhood, very near transportation. Arrived much later then anticipated and was greeted by a friendly gent that spoke broken English. Would recommend this home way from home.
Good value for money. Everything you need.
Six of us shared the flat for a weekend in August 2016. The flat is directly next to the Cologne Fortuna stadium in Cologne Zollstock (very good for football supporters) and is about 100 metres from the S-Bahn stop, which was really practical. We had flat number 1, which was clean and had everything you would expect from a weekend holiday rental. The only small drawback was its location on the fourth floor (no lift available), which was a problem for one of our ladies who is not too good on her feet. Otherwise fine and good as a base for discovering Cologne.
The apartment was very clean and Mrs. Brungs was very helpful getting us checked in and out.
The apartment was very clean and nice. We were able to walk to a beautiful park near by and have dinner in a beer garden. We could easily walk to the grocery and get onto public transportation to take to the center of Cologne. We are a family of six from America and were very comfortable in this apartment. Thank you
Cologne (Köln) is like a three-dimensional textbook on history and architecture. Drifting about town you will stumble upon an ancient Roman wall, medieval churches galore, nondescript postwar buildings and avant-garde museums and concert halls. Germany's forth-largest city, founded by the Romans in 38 BC, has a long list of sightseeing attractions, led by its famous Dom whose filigree twin spires dominate the impressive Altstadt skyline. The Altstadt is also the best place to sample Kölsch, the refreshing local brew, in beer halls rivalling those in Bavaria in rollicking intensity. Cologne has numerous museums - art to chocolate to sport - among hundreds of art galleries to explore or concerts to attend.
