Soak up full sun on the Redwood decks or soak under the stars in our brand new jetted hot tub, large enough for all. Two story house, w/new exotic wood floors in living room and King bedroom, one bathroom for each bedroom! Brand new King bed below, queen bed above, plus loft sleeping and t.v. area for children or extra guests, with futon couch-bed. Luxury linens, fluffy robes (4), and fresh towels. Snuggle beneath down comforters, with down and down alternative pillows.

Read or watch a movie by the wood fire stove (visible fire) in the large living room, with plenty of comfy seating and extra pillows, and luxury rug. Step up to dining room in 'great' area, where all of you will fit comfortably at our long dining table. Ceiling to floor windows in both living and dining areas, easy access to deck.

Sit out in our comfy new loungers with a good book and your favorite drink, and watch the wild birds at the nearby feeders, or the hawks soaring above. If it's summer or fall, watch the hummingbirds at the feeders or just feeding on the purple sage in front of you.

Pick fresh veggies or a bouquet in the veggie and flower garden out back, or just sit quietly and take in the peace in the garden, with views of the old apple orchard and meadow.

Wireless internet and free Netflix. Flat-screen 'Smart' t.v.'s in both the living room and upstairs loft area, can do Facebook or many other internet apps.

Cook up a storm in our brand new oven with large viewing window. Well-stocked house, with Cuisinart coffee maker, coffee-grinder, microwave, blender, and toaster. Beautiful, quality dishware and glassware, and we didn't forget the wine glasses!

Lovely Country Getaway for the family

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect getaway for us - we wanted to vacation in the Sebastopol area and see the sites as well as nearby family and this house was perfect for us! The house is very roomy, comfortable and nicely decorated with interesting art and great beds. The photos don't do justice to the beautiful light that fills the house. We loved the big deck - great for breakfast in the sun or for watching the stars at night or hanging out in the hot tub. The apple orchard surrounds the house and the kids spent a lot of time picking apples and chasing each other. The location is very convenient for heading either to Sebastopol town or west to the ocean/Bodega Bay. We highly recommend it!

Perfect Memorial Day Get Away

  • 5 of 5

Hello sunshine! Living in San Francisco can get a little gray in the summer, so this was the perfect place to find warm sun and hang out in the hot tub for the first weekend of summer. My wife, our 4 year old and I stayed here for the weekend and loved every minute of it. We were enchanted by the beautiful flowers and apple orchards that surround the home and the hummingbirds, hawks and deer that made regular appearances. The champagne, red roses, coffee and chocolate awaiting us on arrival were very much appreciated. I love to cook and the kitchen was incredibly well-appointed- no grumbling from me about lack of accessories here. We used the grill and the wood stove without any complications. The house itself is very tastefully decorated with lots of interesting artwork and accents. "This is really a fun place to stay" said my 4 year old on the 3rd day we were there. Maureen and Kevin were wonderful to work with. We had one small mishap with the aforementioned 4 year old and a screen door and they took it in stride and refused payment for the repair. They were quick to respond to all of our inquiries and had great suggestions for where to go in the surrounding area. Howard's for breakfast in Occidental and The Casino in Bodega for dinner were definite highlights. Thank you Kevin and Maureen for providing a great escape and being great managers- we will definitely think of you again in the future!

A wonderful September getaway

  • 5 of 5

My husband and two young children stayed here in September. It is a bit pricey for just one family, but we had a glorious time without regret! Our favorite aspect to the home is the total privacy, land, and beautiful wrap-around deck. My daughters picked apples and we made pies. We star gazed at night from the spa. We will definitely return. The property is very close to Occidental and the best bakery: Freestone.

Great Vacation House

  • 5 of 5

Very enjoyable stay. Close to Bodega Bay, Occidental and Sebastopol. The owners were very easy to work with and provided great information on things to do and places to eat in the area. We enjoyed the champagne and roses when we arrived. The house was nice and we really enjoyed all the windows looking out to the apple orchard, garden, grape vines and evergreen woods. We were visited by numerous deer every night. We had not planned to use the hot tub but our favorite activity was enjoying a glass (or two) in the hot tub after a day of touring wineries. I would highly recommend this property and the owners.

Wonderful vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

This is one of the best vacation homes we have ever stayed in! The home is so beautifully done - we were greeted by fresh flowers set in multiple rooms, chilled champagne, and chocolates. The kitchen was well stocked in case you forgot to pack basic condiments. We loved the attention to detail - comfortable beds and blankets, smart TVs that came to use for our kids. We were 2 families with young kids, and the kids could all be together in the loft. The setting of the hot tub with the view of the redwoods and the patio area is beautiful. Situated about hour and a half away from SFO airport. The beach recommendations given by Maureen were spot on. The Korbel champagne tasting rooms are a must visit. It was very easy to work with the owners in booking the property - they are very helpful, polite, and easily reachable via email/phone. Anytime we need a relaxing weekend away, we'll be sure to come back!

Beautiful home with fantastic owners!

  • 5 of 5

This property and home are absolutely stunning and it really made our weekend in wine country fantastic. We traveled as 2 couples and we had more than plenty of room and privacy with 2 bedrooms/ 2 baths. The hot tub and fireplace were perfect activities for a relaxing evening in. Maureen and Kevin, the owners, went above and beyond making our visit as comfortable as possible. We look forward to coming back!

Close to both wineries and the ocean; come explore our beautiful wild coast and Redwoods. Wineries and tasting rooms in every direction, even on the bay, at Gourmet au Bay! Near the quaint towns of Sebastopol and Occidental, and the Russian River recreation area (canoeing, river rafting, kayaking, and fishing). A short drive to the Sonoma Valley, or Hwy 101 North to Healdsburg and the Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley, and Russian River Appellation. Only 15 minutes to Santa Rosa, from there another 10 to Healdsburg, or 20 to Napa and it's Silverado Trail. Eat out in the quaint redwood hamlet of Occidental at one of several establishments; breakfast at Howard's in a beautiful Victorian.

Feeling lucky? Hit Hwy 101 South to Rohnert Park and the Graton Rancheria brand-new, gleaming, state-of-the-art casino, with over 3,000 slots!

Don't forget to spend a day in San Francisco, only an hour south. Take the ferry from Larkspur to the notorious island prison of Alcatraz, or to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, for shopping, seafood dining, and the sights, such as Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. Or have a fabulous meal in North Beach (Little Italy) or Chinatown.

Be sure to leave time to just relax on our brand new redwood deck with it's comfortable loungers and seating; then soak in our state of the art hot tub, with seating and jets for all of your group. Watch the stars in the perfectly dark sky, void of city lights, then go sit by the wood fire in our comfortable large living room and watch a movie on our free Netflix, or just relax with a good book in this peaceful atmosphere.

come out to the peace and quiet of this beautiful countryside home. Close to both beaches, river, and towns, but 'away from it all.' Pamper yourself at Osmosis Spa very nearby, or go out to the scrumptious Freestone Bakery on Sunday mornings, to get goodies to eat out on the decks! Or have a more hearty breakfast at Howard's, in an old Victorian house in Occidental with wrap around porch and delicious big breakfasts. Hear live music and have a cold one in the Occidental brewpub. Great food, too! Town is just a few minutes away!
