Best view on the lake, pier fishing was great!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed the second week of September and the weather was great! It was amazing how much bigger the cabin felt compared to the pictures, even with 7 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room for more. Some of our crew have been coming to vermilion for 20 years and we all decided this was the best location yet! Definetly a must see!

Great Location, Easy Access from Landing, Short Boat Ride, Two Docks.

The cabin is very comfortable and the two king beds were perfect. Plenty of room for the six of us.

Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Week!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a week here as a group of 12 people - 4 adults and 8 children (mostly teens). We were a little worried about space, but upon arrival, were pleasantly surprised. The loft area with the twin beds is adorable with areas for storage and a clean, modern bathroom. The "bungalow" room on the property provides additional space and is a great place to sit and read, nap or play games.

The backyard is perfect for yard games! We were also happy to have a dock on both sides of the island to "play the wind" if needed. However, wind was never an issue the week we were there.

The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pots/pans and utensils. We were spoiled by having a dishwasher as well as washer/dryer. Modern conveniences with a Northern Minnesota experience.

Getting to the marina is a very short boat or kayak ride with plenty of parking for your vehicle and trailer, making it easy to get to the nearest convenience store (12 minute drive) and the nearest grocery store (20 minute drive).

Overall an excellent week!

Beautiful location, beautiful home!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this home! Everything was great- large windows with beautiful views, comfy beds, nice big kitchen table, ping pong/pool table, washer & dryer, fans in each room, big dock, nice shady sitting area halfway down the walkway to put lawn chairs and enjoy morning coffee, gazebo to play cards/games in... and it was better stocked than any other cabin we've stayed at! Tons of bath towels, paper towels, t.p., cleaning supplies, dish/hand soap, first aid kit, bug spray, flash lights, plastic baggies, foil, saran wrap, seasonings, olive oil. Maybe some of these items were left behind by other visitors, I don't know, but it was wonderful!

Would definitely recommend this place!
