Better than the photos!
My boyfriend and I stayed 8 nights - it was a beautiful place! We loved having a kitchen so we saved money cooking breakfast and usually packed a lunch too. The condo had boogie boards, chairs, and other beach things that was nice to use and didn't have to rent or buy. It was a close walk to the beach and to several restaurants and bars. I will definitely remember this place and recommend it. Keith was also very quick to respond and the cleaner let us drop our bags off before check in. Such a fun trip, wish we didn't have to leave! The only critique was that the bedroom was hot, we just kept the curtains closed and it wasn't too bad. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!!!
Utterly bizarre experience. Charged unfairly. Extremely unprofessional
I stayed in the condo in Feb. After my return the owner Keith wrote to me that I damaged a chair in the balcony and charged me $140 for repair. I hardly ever went out in the balcony, and the chairs are really old and already damaged. One of the chairs had a huge gaping hole in the seat. It looked like a frayed basketball net.
I find it outrageous and insulting that he would accuse me of scratching a chair when these chairs are so old and damaged that they should not be in the balcony in the first place.
The balcony was full of body boards, children’s plastic toys, beach umbrellas, etc. Owner Keith accused me of bringing plastic toys. I explained to him that I am a single person with no kids. Those toys were already in the balcony!
Then he said his maid told him that apartment was more than usual dirty and she had to spend extra time cleaning it. And she thought there were multiple people living there. This is again an outrageous charge, as I was the only one there. There was not even any visitor. Not even for one minute! And neither Keith nor the maid offer any proof or eyewitness etc.
I never met Keith during my stay, He most likely does not live in Hawaii and has no idea what is going on in his apartment.
I’m a single person and was most of the time out of the unit. I am also a clean freak, and immediately would my shoes off when I entered his apartment (like I do at home). Again he offers no proof that I soiled the apartment. Also, he makes such a general and vague charge (“it took my maid longer than usual to clean”). What does that even mean?
I have tried to call Keith, but he never picks up. I have sent him text messages and multiple emails to call me, but he has been unresponsive. And has not refunded the extremely unfair fine he levied on me.
I am trying to find out if there is a way to discus this case with VRBO. Their app does not seem to have this option or information about it. If anyone else can help me it would be appreciated. Thanks.

We loved the apartment. Location was amazing.
Great location walking distance to everything!! Loved the view! Only had issues with the kitchen sink!! Would definitely rent here again!! Can’t wait to go back!!
Well equipped, excellent views, and convient to beaches.
We have been to Hawaii multiple times. More recently we go to Waikiki to visit family twice a year. This stay was far superior to a hotel. Love the space, the ability to cook and wash clothes, and a great lanai for entertaining. We were really pleased with Keith's quick response to our few questions.
Great location, close to everything.
Property was in good condition. We would definitely stay here again.
