The property was clean, comfortable and well-stocked with all the required amenities for a relaxing stay. I definitely recommend this to friends and family. We did run into an issue with the flush tank overflowing in one of the bathroom (half-bath) near the laundry. The flush re-fill mechansim seems to be broken which failed to sense the the tank is full.
The property has everything you need for a getaway, and is less than a mile from downtown. The house is clean, spacious, and well maintained. In addition, the deck has a BBQ and spa that are great amenities. We will definitely recommend the property.
We had 7 people there for a wine tasting weekend, the house had more than enough room for all of us. The spacious patio made for great morning recaps and breakfast and the large dining room was great for the one night we cooked. It was great having all the utensils, dishes, pots and pans that we actually needed instead of having to try and make things work. Having the Jacuzzi to relax in at the end of the night was great, very clean, a little to much chlorine for my liking but understand why. When we booked the house we thought it was walking distance to town and was a little disappointed it wasn't, but we only when out the 1 night for dinner at the Main St Bistro, which had great food and live entertainment. We were all very pleased and if we get back to the area for another wine weekend, we would rent this house again.
We had a family reunion and could not have been more pleased. The home has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There is a large Dining room and large deck for get togethers, eating and playing games but also little vignettes all around to fine a quiet nook for yourself and a good read. The house was well appointed. The beds very comfortable. The Description does it justice, though a walk to Johnson beach may be a bit far if you have much beach paraphernalia as we did. I would absolutely stay again. We hiked Armstrong woods to frog pond, Beautiful but not for the faint of heart. We also had a family dinner at Trios that was excellent. Would recommend reservations as only one cook and he was hustling. The only negative is the outside deck has several levels and people walk right off of it and can fall and hurt themselves.
