About Tracey

Hi, this is your host, Tracey. A little about me: I moved to Colorado in 2006. I love providing a warm atmosphere where folks can come and relax, retreat and recuperate. I decided to open up my home for travelers and vacationers, renting out the lower level of my home. Penguins are awesome and inspire me!!

Tracey purchased this condo in 2007

Great Value!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Penguin Crossing. The bed & couch were comfortable, the bathroom was large with plenty of hot water, and the kitchen had what we needed to cook for 2. We spent our days hiking in Mueller state park and other nearby trails. The only downsides were lack of TV, (cable or otherwise – the TV in the unit is only usable as a monitor to watch DVD’s), slow wifi (it was so slow in the evenings that we weren't able to stream Netflix) and lack of cell phone coverage. But the value for the price was excellent! Thanks to Tracey for your hospitality!

Enjoyed our stay

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the place and surroundings. Comfortable, quiet and extremely clean place. It was very nice to meet the owner and her fabulous 2 dogs. Tracey was near by all the time, ready to help with wood stove, etc but also gave us space and privacy.

We enjoyed running and evening walks with great views of Pikes Peak and nearby hills.

Lovely Stay in Divide, CO

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property for two nights in July 2016. The property was clean, bed was comfortable, and the Aspens were beautiful. The kitchen is very small and would not accommodate cooking a large meal, but we were fine going into town to eat dinners. Our only other complaint was no cable; however, Tracey has a large selection of DVD's and a few board games. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Owner's Response: Thanks for staying at Penguin Crossing. I agree, the kitchen is small, I am open to ideas on ways to improve it...

Tranquil! A beautiful place to rest , think and reflect

  • 5 of 5

The guys had an amazing time! They each found joy in wandering through the beautiful property. Walks in the woods, quiet conversations about life, reflections on God.... Thank you for sharing your home in this way, so many of us would never get to have this experience otherwise!

We enjoyed our stay at Penquin Crossing. The cabin was sufficient for our needs.

This home is in a lovely area. Homeowner is very nice and easy to work with. Home is clean and comfortable. There is easy access to hiking, restaurants and other attractions. I would have enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of coffee if a nice patio area was available. Front yard could easily be turned into this area. Overall great place to stay.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your input! You are absolutely right. I have since set up a patio area where folks can do just what you suggested and have coffee outdoors. So glad you came to visit.
