Throwback to a simpler time

  • 4 of 5

There are few places as special as Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, and Harmon Cottage on Caspian Lake is a fantastic place to experience the natural wonder and beauty of the area. It is cozy and sweet and well appointed. Caspian is clear and clean; the walking path around the lake is unique, and the town beach is super family friendly. The cottage is nestled among other historic, turn of the century camps and the lake evokes a feeling of a time gone by. Any essentials you might need are available at the 100+ year old Willey's Store in town and local NEK farms provide the freshest and most delicious local produce, meats, and cheeses. We were so happy to find Harmon Cottage and can't wait to return to the Kingdom. Thank you for such an enjoyable week!

Relaxing and quiet in a well-appointed and comfortable cottage

  • 5 of 5

The Harmon Cottage is a very comfortable and cozy place that has everything that you need. Gia is very accommodating and helpful. A canoe, kayak, and boat help provide great times on the cool clear water of Caspian Lake. Poor cell phone reception and lack of wifi and TV let you truly "unplug" and escape the demands of work. The close proximity of neighbors at the waterfront can possibly be a challenge, but we were fortunate to be there during a quiet time. Cannot say enough about how relaxing our time was there. A great place!

Great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week at Caspian. My only suggestion for the owners is to upgrade to a gas grill.

Fall Foliage & Loons

  • 4 of 5

This is a great time of year to spend time on Caspian...crisp mornings, warm afternoons, Fall Foliage and Loons calling. Harmon Cottage is a most accommodating traditional camp in which to enjoy the experience. This was my second stay here & I look forward to returning.
