Very cozy and beautiful place to stay. Great location and safe neighborhood.
Very convenient to restaurants, Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street and all places you would want to visit
Perfect for our visit :)
We really enjoyed our visit at this home, especially because of the proximity of pretty much everything New Orleans!! We parked our vehicle and Ubered the rest of the time. The house was clean and stocked with essentials. I can vouch for this in the spacey bathroom, and while I'm sure the kitchen is the same, we did NOT come to New Orleans to cook, lol. One tiny thing about the bathroom is you have to fiddle with doorknob to get out. Not a complaint, just a heads up because each of us thought we were going to end up stuck in there, lol. The owners really made this a smooth process and I would recommend this home for a fun time in NOLA :)
The location is within driving distance to the quarter and close to city park. We literally went with our dogs to city park daily. Whole Foods is close by also which is nice as you can cook in this little apartment. The bed is very comfortable, which is a big deal for us. The cabinets are well stocked with necessary items, and also olive oil, vinegar, and other various condiments. It is clean and has a wonderful little sitting area in the balcony to sit at night. It is a bit noisy, as it’s close to a major street, but I slept well. It has a great window and the light comes in daily. Great charm! We will be back again.
Disappointing, Photos make it look cute but don't tell the whole story.
It is not a good sign when your taxi pulls up in front and there is a big green construction dumpster in front. The front steps were littered with moss and other debris from the beautiful trees along Esplanade, need swept. It is very near a busy intersection and there is a lot of traffic noise. This is a place that is undergoing remodeling. During the day men are working in back and underneath the unit with hammers, staple guns, saws, etc. They quit at 5:00 but don't expect to be able to take a nap during the day. This has nice hardwood floors but because of the remodeling there does not seem to be a subfloor and you can see light coming up from the cracks between the floor boards. There is a very threadbare area rug in the area under and around the bed. It needs replaced. We did not see any smoke detectors. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, there is a functional kitchen, it has a nice whirlpool tub (however it should have grab bars to help in getting in and out of the tub). The location is convenient and easy to get to. There is a cute coffee shop a couple of blocks away.
This is was great! The location was great and the neighborhood was very quiet. We were able to get around by Uber which wasn’t terrible except for the traffic. The studio was more than enough room for the 3 of us and the host was very welcoming!
Very accommodating. Everything as described. Loved It!
We stayed three nights. Cooked eggs, bacon, and sausage every morning. Had a great time. Very close to all the Old New Orleans sites and adventures. Felt very safe. We would stay again.
