This 5BR/2.5BA Austin home features architecture as unique and diverse as the city itself. The first floor structure was built in the early 20’s and has plenty of the original character. In stages since then, three additional floors have been added in the form of a tower to offer you four levels of premier indoor/outdoor living space.
Just outside of Zilker Park, this home boasts an unrivalled location for lovers of culture and the outdoors. From well-known festivals to tranquil nature centers, the park has something for everyone. For the foodies in your group, mouthwatering local eateries are just a short walk away.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
The beauty of this unique home is clear both inside and out. The first level has two traditional bedrooms, one with a king and one with a queen, and an additional sleeping space in the living room offset by a curtain partition.
The first floor is also home to a fully stocked kitchen and two bathrooms -- one attached to the master and one in the hallway for convenience. The multi-use space in the living area can be either an extended living room or a sleeping room with two twin beds that can roll into a king if you prefer.
Each floor of the three-story tower addition offers its own unique purpose. The first is home to a twin bed, working desk, and sitting area. The second is a landing pad with chairs, a mini refrigerator, and a half bath. The loft above yields even more sleeping space with a full-sized bed.
Four separate decks offer you plenty of opportunities to take in the fresh air while looking out over Zilker Park. When the stars come out, recount your day’s adventure by the fire pit in the yard.
Large groups can stay together in Zilker, one of the most desirable parts of town, at our beautiful home that sleeps 9.
No matter the season, our location offers plenty to fill your days. Come stay for the Austin City Limits at Zilker Park, a short walk away. When the festival’s not in town, there’s still plenty to do and see at Austin’s most-loved park, from splash pads and pools to the Austin Nature & Science Center.
Or explore South Austin’s finest eateries, just minutes away from your vacation rental. The original Chuy’s is right across the street, next to the home of the famous purple margarita at Baby Acapulco. Enjoy a to-die-fore baked potato omelet at Austin Java or walk to JuiceLand to try the Wundershowzen Smoothie.

First trip to Austin with group of friends. The house was just as advertised, was very clean and well supplied. A cool property with interesting design and loft rooms up top. The location felt like we were in the country, but only 10 minutes to centre of the city, and interesting places closer than that. Turnkey was great in all the organization and communications. I'm not in the habit of making online reviews, but was truly impressed with Turnkey.
We came to Austin for a girls weekend and needed a property to accommodate a larger group (8), that would be close to restaurants and activities, and this property fit the bill! This home encompasses that Austin uniqueness, is close to great restaurants, practically next door to Barton Springs, and yet still feels safe, quiet, and peaceful. We felt like we were able to get away while still being near all of the amenities. Downtown and Congress Ave are very close by. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and the open floor plan of the communal spaces was essential for down time together as a group. Downsides were: the fridge is a little older and took a little longer to keep its contents cold; and the bathroom doors are pocket doors which is fine, except that one of them doesn't latch or close all of the way. Otherwise, great property! If it hadn't been 100 degrees, we would have utilized the outside space a little more!
Great house for our family of 5, with teens and younger. Great space to hang out, and loved the proximity to the park and other areas. Not fancy, but clean and well organized. Management company was great, as we also had a problem with the door code on arrival - was speedily fixed, and no issues from there.
Great, unique house in a cool, quiet neighborhood. Good for a group with plenty of beds, great outdoor patio and deck area. The house was very clean, well furnished and had everything needed. The property manager was on the spot (5 min phone call) getting the door code changed when ours didn't work when we arrived.
We rented this property for a bachelorette party weekend and it easily accommodated our group of 8 ladies. The house is extremely spacious with more than adequate sleeping and lounging space, you were able to enjoy being a part of the group while also having the option to slip away and have your own privacy. The views from the second-story and third-story decks is amazing, perfect for sitting outside to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The location is wonderful, only about a $10 cab ride from 6th Street. It is located in a nice neighborhood with parking in a back alley, we felt very safe and had no issues of that sort. The kitchen is basically furnished and we were able to cook with minimal difficulties. Some of the appliances are outdated and needed a little TLC to get working, however it was very clean. We would definitely rent this location again, definitely a steal for the price per person.
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Five women stayed in this house, and unfortunately, we all ended up having to stay downstairs. There are only two bedrooms with doors and only ONE bathroom with a door. Who doesn't put a door on a bathroom? The stairs are incredibly narrow and steep - and the upstairs half bathroom (no door) is not next to either "bedroom" upstairs (no doors). If you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night you absolutely cannot stay upstairs. If you want insulation, you absolutely cannot stay upstairs. Which meant the five of us all had to crowd downstairs, sleeping on the couch. We were bummed and felt like we had been misled about the bathrooms. The company did take care of the roach problem right away... so that was good? Great location near Zilker park.
