Kamaole Sands is an upscale property that has been voted 'Best Condominium on Maui' by the travel industry. It is located at the south end of the little town of Kihei and borders on the exclusive neighborhood of Wailea. The complex is directly across the street from one of the best beaches in Maui - Kamaole III.

This unit sleeps 2 people. Accommodations will not be made for more. ***THERE IS A $35.00 RESORT FEE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING AT CHECK-IN***

Our condominium has central air though out and sleeps two. The central air conditioner is new as of July 2015. It is a split system meaning you can run the air in both the living room and the bedroom simultaneously. To use the A/C all you need to do is turn the knob by the lanai to activate the living room. It has about a 60 second delay before it kicks in. If you leave the lanai door open longer than 3 minutes while the A/C is running it will turn off and you will have to turn the knob again. For the bedroom the knob to activate is next to the bathroom door. A full turn of the knob will give you 6 straight hours of cool air. If you decide you want the air off just turn the knob backwards counter clockwise. The unit has been remodeled with a new kitchen in January of 2018 with bamboo cabinets and stainless steel appliances including a beautiful french door large refrigerator and is in building number six with a beautiful garden view. It is very spacious with one bedroom and two full remodeled baths. The bedroom has a new king size bed that is very comfortable. We have the unit with the very large lanai to add to your enjoyment of the beach. The condominium comes with a TV with cable in the master suite and an entertainment center with TV/VCR/DVD/CD player in the living room. I also have videos for both young and old and books for your enjoyment. ***FREE INTERNET***Please note that Internet in the complex is slow at times especially during peak usage times.

For your beach experience, I also provide you with beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear, umbrellas, tennis rackets and just about anything else you need for a day at the beach or pool. I even have a wagon for you to use when bringing in your groceries from the car. It really comes in handy when lugging in big packs of bottled water.

The Kamaole Sands complex is a lush, 15-acre property that truly represents the Aloha spirit. We are in building six, on the second floor, across from the pool. The pool has recently been renovated and the decking replaced with beautiful flagstone. There are two jet spas, a large pool, and a children's wading pool. There are also four regulation tennis courts, barbecue areas, an on-site deli, and a center to book activities. The complex has also been recently gated for more privacy. Several world-class golf courses are minutes away. Just a short walk or drive is great shopping and dining.

My name is Wanda Hensley and my husband and I own this beautiful unit. We are retired and currently reside in Dallas, Texas. We take great pride in our unit and and take care to ensure the unit is up to date and equipped with every possible thing a vacationer would want. I like nice things and try to equip my unit with things I would want while on vacation in paradise. I am exceptionally proud of the central air that we installed in 2015 and our beautiful new kitchen completely remodeled in January of 2018.

In spite of a terrible revue from a former guest, I am a very hands on owner and work to make sure my guests are comfortable and happy. Since the bad review I have not set my a/c to my comfort level but leave the remote controls in the unit so you can set them to your comfort level. You will not be disappointed when renting this unit.

Great place for a family vacation

What a beautiful condo. Our second time staying at Kamaole Sands and we love the location and beautiful grounds.

Building 6 is right beside the pool - this suite 207 does not have much of a view and gets non-stop noise from the pool. It was very busy (spring break) so lots of young families. Would recommend this unit to those who are travelling with kids as it is very conveniently located and well stocked with everything you can think of. But if you want peace and quiet on the lanai, you might want to choose a different building.

This is an excellent condo in a beautiful gated complex. Security patrol is always present but unobtrusive. It’s very safe and family friendly. The gorgeous landscaping, pool area, tennis courts and Bbq areas are all kept immaculate. This particular condo is well appointed with a lot of extras. We felt right at home when we walked through the door. It is clean, neat, and well organized. We highly recommend this condo. We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was well appointed, and had everything we needed. The grounds of the Kamaole Sands are beautifully maintained, and they have a strict noise policy at night, which makes for a nice quiet holiday.

Beautiful Condo with everything you could need!

We loved the property! It was a beautiful condo with all the amenities you could possibly want. Located close to the pool, walking distance to the beach and dining. The property was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of supplies provided for a fun day at the beach. We enjoyed relaxing on the large lanai after a busy day. We would definitely recommend this property to others! Thank you Wanda for a great experience on Maui!

Once you get on Piilani Hwy the turn to the complex is at mile 9and the turn (right) is Keoneki. There is no light at the turn and when you make the turn you will be in a subdivision. Keep going towards the water and turn left on Kihei Rd, and the complex is on your left. Check in at the front desk for parking pass and complex instructions.
