Come relax and enjoy our restored 1930's plantation home surrounded by an acre of tropical gardens. Wake up to morning bird song and the fragrance of exotic flowers.

This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home includes a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. The spacious Asian style Master suite has a queen bed and opens onto a secluded shower garden. 2 guest rooms have queen beds and share adjoining bath. Additional half bath is accessable from both inside and outside. Outside living area includes 2 decks along with a spacious covered dining and entertaining area.

Some of the best snorkeling and swimming on the island are just a short 8 minute drive from the property. Fantastic hiking into scenic Pololu Valley is also just a few minutes up the road. Whale watching, horseback riding, zip lining, fishing, fluming, surfing, or just relaxing at the beach are all activities close at hand in the north Kohala area. To get a feel for the local flavor, Hawi has a wonderful Farmers Market every Saturday morning.

About Pam & Grey

We are a Kamaiana family with roots in Hawaii since 1949. We met while attending the University of Oregon in 1967. Our family includes 2 sons, their wives and 4 beautiful grand children.

Why Pam & Grey chose Hawi

As designer/builders, we have always had a soft spot for renovating older vintage homes in the Northwest and Hawaii. This classic old Plantation home was calling out for help and we answered the call!!

What makes this house unique

We were attracted to the spaciousness of the property and the plantation style of the house with it Craftsman elements. It had "good bones" but needed lots of work!

My family rented this beautiful home December 27th to January 6th.

We visit the island the same time every year and can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this property and home. The home itself is a original plantation home very recently redone with an addition to high standards. The home is fitted with a full kitchen with every appliance you could ever use. The home is a secluded flag lot in a very friendly neighborhood with citrus and fruit trees in the yard. We truly had the best time here it was like home and intend to hopefully rent the house on our next trip if available.
