About the property

2 queen + single beds, Main Building CBL rent additional condo w/connecting door

property #1215 not #1213 (can't seem to change the number) Great location, 1 beautiful pine queen bed plus a bunk bed with queen on the bottom and single on top, bathroom, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, counter oven, skillet, lots of dvds to watch. Great location as you only have to walk down the stairs or use the elevator to go to the large indoor pool or sit in two amazing hot tubs after a day of hiking or skiing. Restaurant and coffee shop are also only one flight of stairs down which makes it great on those cold winter nights. Under ground parking, luggage carts and elevators make it really easy to load all your gear. Beautiful view out the window and laundry room is just one flight up if needed.

******Awesome opportunity*******if you wanted a larger space. I also own #890598. by combining both studios the ad would read:

2 adjoining Junior Villas with 4 queen beds, (one is a bunk bed with queen and single bed on top), sofa sleeper for small child, (sleeps 10 comfortably but beds for 12 if needed that includes a full mattress to pull out from under a bed) Space is limited, but it functions if you are needing beds versus lots of spare room. You can view vrbo #890598 for more pictures. If you want both junior villas you will have to book both of them separately. One condo is newly remodeled with granite countertops and an extended kitchenette, beautiful log furniture, upgraded bathroom, rock fireplace, large flat screen TV with surround sound. Kitchenette has large sink, small fridge, microwave, hot plate, oven, skillet, pots and pans, etc.

Joined together with connecting doors these Junior Villa Condos at Cedar Breaks Lodge are perfect for a large family or two families that want to be connected together, but have privacy without feeling like you have to be rude to your company. Simply close the door and cook your own food, and watch your own TV! The best of both worlds! I have tried to make them a home away from home so I will get the same people returning year after year. There is also an additional memory foam mattress pad if needed. These are studio condos and they do not have a living room. Most suitcases will fit under the bed.

About Paula Gardner

I love to be outside and out of the heat so this was perfect for me. I am in the process of adopting so proceeds from this rental will get me that much closer to my dream of being a mom! I am a teacher and live in Mesquite, Nevada. Can you say hot? Having the summer off I wanted to be able to take my soon to be 'unique' family someplace where we can enjoy the outdoors without melting!

Paula Gardner purchased this condo in 2013

Why Paula Gardner chose Utah

Most people go here for the Ski season. I personally bought it for the beautiful, cool summer nights and breath-taking views during the fall.

What makes this condo unique

I am pretty easy going and have a goal in mind. If I am presented with an opportunity that moves me closer to that goal I will consider all options.

Great weekend get away!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this room! The beds were great and the sofa sleeper was nice too. It has a little kitchenette and things to cook with. It also has a nice table where we could sit down and play games or enjoy our meal. This Lodge is in the perfect location. It is about a two minute drive to any of the lifts if you want to ski or snowboard. The pool was nice and it even has two hot tubs, a steam room and a sauna. The Lodge has a little kids club that hosts activities throughout the day and it also has a café and restaurant. Overall I thought this place was the perfect weekend getaway.

The in room fireplace was fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

Wow we had a great time, the snow had fallen and the sledding was a blast, the kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool afterwards. The beds were comfy, the room was clean and comfortable. The facilities where great. We enjoyed the covered parking for unloading and loading snow free. We enjoyed the game room and the ease at getting the equipment for it for no extra cost. The wet sauna was fantastic. The fireplace by the pool is a great touch. The activities center was fantastic to work with and the kids enjoyed the options there. We had the chance to go see a movie that night in the conference room with popcorn included. The staff were fantastic and helped with all of our questions. The location is a short walk to Brian Head ski resort and had we more time and fewer little kids we would have given it a go. We were able to save a few bucks and cook food we brought with us.

We visited Apple Annie's store just across the street and they had just about anything we may have forgot.

Paula kept in touch through out the days leading up to and on departure and was easy to work with.

We look froward to coming back here in the future. Perhaps in the summer to enjoy the cooler temps.

Great location and value

  • 3 of 5

Overall the accommodations were adequate for what I was there for, which was ski. The property owner is very prompt in her replies and taking care of things. There was a minor issue that the property owner resolved right away. Wi-fi in the unit is great and very strong. Came in handy to watch Netflix. The unit has a large inventory of DVD's. The check in process was flawless, and loved having my vehicle in the underground parking keeping it out of the elements. The shuttle is very handy and someone could walk to the Navajo Lodge in 5 minutes or less. Brian Head Shuttle was very convenient to get transportation over to Giant Steps. There are lots of cooking appliances, extra blankets, towels, etc. I wouldn't suggest anymore than 2-4 people as it could get a little cramped. Hot tubs, pool, and saunas were great after a long day of skiing. The restaurant and bar were very convenient, reasonably priced and the food was really good. I would certainly stay there again. Thank you for letting me stay in your unit. The only suggestion I would have would be an instruction sheet on what needs to be done upon leaving the unit, i.e. taking out the trash, pulling the linens off the bed, dishes, etc, etc. Other than that, it was a great trip. Thank you again.

Great Location

  • 4 of 5

My family and I had an amazing vacation at Brian Head Resort. The condo is located in the main building of the Cedar Breaks Lodge complex (3 buildings total), which means you don't have to go outside (in the wintery snow) to get to and from the pool and spa. It's also in walking distance to the main lodge and lift; so you can't really beat the location. We decided to deduct 1 star because of a faulty heater and unclean towels, both of which were remedied by the owner. Even though the condo is in good condition, it is in need of a little updating. Other than that, we had a great time! Brian Head is perfect for families and children just learning how to ski.

Clean, Affordable, and Close to Navajo Ski Lifts!

  • 4 of 5

Paula's condo was clean, affordable for our family, and in the perfect location! We are a family of 5 so we often have to choose a larger room that is usually more costly. We appreciated the extra memory foam pads under the bed so our 5 year old could be comfortable while sleeping. I will say that staying in this studio sized condo was a tight squeeze for our family of 5, doable, but crowded! Cedar Breaks Lodge is in the perfect location if you have children in Ski School or will be primarily skiing on the Navajo Mountain side of the resort. There is a shuttle, but we walked the majority of the time across the parking lot (about a 5 minute walk) to the resort instead of waiting for the shuttle. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the indoor pool and jacuzzi at this location. It was especially nice that this condo unit was in the main building and in the same building as the pool/jacuzzi/gym facility (Cedar Breaks Lodge has three buildings and guests in the other two buildings have to walk across the parking lot to get the pool--probably not a big deal in the summer, but a cold and slippery walk in the winter).

We ate several meals in the condo, using the hot plate and microwave to warm our food. The kitchenette was small, and it was kind of difficult to prepare/clean up our food there, so we ended up eating out the last two nights. One night while we were preparing dinner using the microwave, hot plate, TV, and several electronics plugged into charge all at the same time, we blew the circuit and lost power. The Cedar Breaks Lodge was quick to respond and we had power back in about 10 minutes. Going forward, we just made sure not to use so many devices at the same time, in the same area of the condo, but that was where most of the outlets were so we had to be mindful of that. We also had some issues with the hot water for showering after skiing--the first person got a warm shower, but then the water would go cold. I don't know if this was an issue specific to this condo unit or the Lodge as a whole? We had cold, snowy, days on the slopes while we were in Brianhead, so a hot shower was a welcome thing. Thankfully the jacuzzi was close so we warmed up there and spread out our showers. Paula did have several flavors of hot cocoa/apple cider supplied at the condo. My kids had fun trying those and I thought it was a thoughtful little "extra" to include.

Overall, we had a very nice experience for the price point we paid.
