About Michael Terrien
I grew up in Texas, went to college then became a Navy pilot flying F14's in the Gulf war. Based in San Diego decide to stay there and went in the investment business after the war and still make my home in San Diego. I start a Vineyard and enjoy harvesting the grapes.
Michael Terrien purchased this Cabin in 2008
Why Michael Terrien chose Moonridge
I am a Skier and after renting many properties in Big Bear over the years I decided to buy this one because of it's proximity to the Slopes. Work is keeping me busy so I can't enjoy the cabin as much as I would like to so I thought why not rent it out so others can enjoy it as much as I have.
What makes this Cabin unique
I love to be able to park at my home and just walk to Bear Mountain rather than have to drive or take the shuttle

Quiet September Weekend with the family
A friend and I rented this cabin with our kids for a weekend. The house is in a nice, quiet location very close to the small local zoo. We even saw a coyote exploring the yard our last morning. Parking was easy for our two vehicles (SUV and Minivan). The one house next door is far enough away that you aren't aware of them being home. There is a patio area, but not quite enough space out back to just let the older kids run around for a bit.
Inside the cabin is very clean, in good condition and beautifully decorated (some large stains throughout the carpeted areas; the transition flooring is a bit loose and a screw popped out a few times, so make sure if you have a little one who likes to put small things in their mouths you keep an eye out).
As mentioned by others, the kitchen is well stocked with hodgepodge of cooking pans and utensils. We prepped most of our meals before arriving, and there are a few spices in the cabinet if needed.
We slid the coffee table in front of the tv to prevent the baby from accessing the cables, and didn't attempt to use the fireplace. The owner provided a pack-and-play and highchair which was very accommodating.
The second and third bedroom are connected, but separated by a door and you can access the back bed and bath through the game-room without having to go through the other bedroom if desired. All of the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable!
We had a very nice stay and recommend this as a beautiful place to stay in Big Bear.
Nice Big Bear Cabin
Nice roomy cabin that suited our 2 families and kids. Good location near zoo and easy drive to town. Quite enjoyable.
Lovely, warm and equipped with everything we needed.
Our family of 5 stayed for 4 days over the Memorial Day weekend in style and comfort. Thank you, Mike. Great place, great decor, well-equipped. We cooked most of our meals at home, and played games, built fires, and reconnected. Great rooms, comfortable beds, we didn’t miss a thing from home here. #family 💕

Very clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay for the weekend.
Our home is just a two minute walk to Bear Mountain, the Moonridge Zoo and the Golf course. You can Mountain bike or just hike right from our location.
