Sitting atop Banker's Hill, perhaps the most historic and romantic of San Diego's neighborhoods, is the Sherman Doig House (SD house). Built in 1887, this historic privately owned Victorian home is available for overnight stays and offers the intimacy of a bed and breakfast in the center of 'Americas Finest City'.
The rooms are charming and eclectic. The neighborhood is delightful and centrally located.
FloorOne is perfect for a weekend getaway or short stay vacation. There is a private entrance and designated parking space, plus the following:

This floor has two 2-room suites with 4 Beds: 2 Queens and 2 Doubles. There is a Powder Room and bonus Spa Room with large jetted tub and separate shower.

Bankers Hill is an ideal place to go for an afternoon walk. The walk will offer you spectacular views of the city and the intrigue of some of San Diego's finest historic homes.
Some of the popular Bankers Hill restaurants include Bertrand at Mr. A's that has amazing views, Busalacci's, Cucina Urbana, The Hob Nob Cafe, and The Bankers Hill Restaurant. As a result of this idealistic location, the SDhouse is conveniently located to many attractions & amenities.

We purchased this magnificent historic Victorian home in 2013 and have completed some minor cosmetic modifications to accommodate those looking for a unique vacation rental.
