Granite Island Kitchen opens to large living room with large pleather sectional with sleeper sofa. Kitchen has everything you need! Central air, dishwasher, microwave, Wifi, 2 flat screen TVs, Basic Cable and DVD players. Cozy six unit corner building. Outdoor Grill. Convenient location, East of Federal Hwy, 15 minute walk to beach. Only 1 block to Publix supermarket, LA Fitness, yoga studio & 20 restaurants & bars. You can walk or bike everywhere! Coin operated washer and dryer on premises. Off-street parking. This quiet, well maintained, owner operated building has open and large units unlike any other vacation rental buildings. Studios & 2 bedrooms also available. Some units have private beautiful tropical gardens & patios. 2 bedrooms have huge balconies with tables for 4 for outside dinning.
This 2 story 6 unit rental was a joy to stay in. It's so conveniently located for shopping, restaurants
and it's a quick walk over the bridge to the beautiful Deerfield Beach.
The units are immaculate, beautifully decorated and the management is very hands on and friendly.
This was our first experience in Florida rental property and it exceeded our expectations.

Very nicely redone units with top of the line kitchen counters and new flat-top stove, sink, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. No toaster or dishwasher. The owner did provide everything to clean dishes and there were some paper/disposable plates and bowls in the cupboard. Tile throughout, which was fine with us since it was probably one of the reasons why she allows well-behaved pets. Nice new greenpan cookware, but no microwave cookware. Also only 4 place settings, but since you did have to clean everything by hand, that perhaps made sense. Also, we are probably the exception to the norm in that one reason we like renting a unit like this rather than a hotel room is that we do plan on doing a lot of cooking and eating in rather than dining out. The leather sectional sofa and stools for the counter (no dining table) were very comfortable and we were provided with enough towels, paper towels, soap and toilet paper to get through the week. Location is great, within walking distance of lots of stores and restaurants including a Publix supermarket and CVS Pharmacy, also walkable to the beach if you like but if you're taking a lot of stuff with you you'd probably prefer to drive and park there. The owner was helpful and easy to work with. We'd love to stay there again, but fear by next year she will probably be booked up with long-term rentals due to the nice size and reasonable price of the units.
My husband and I arrived to a friendly welcome and wonderful owners. We fell in love from the moment we spotted the property. The condo was spotless, very nicely decorated, and every detail was taken care of. The location is perfect for restaurants, shopping, the beach and groceries. I really felt at home from day one and that's important to me because I travel all the time. You owe it to yourself to stay here!!!
We were the first renters in this very comfortable apartment since the new owners bought and refurbished this classic beach-town 2-story, 6-unit apartment building. They have done everything they can think of to make this a clean, modern, and comfortable accommodation, and we were very satisfied with all aspects of the experience:
Location: Deerfield Beach is the town in Southeast Florida that has best retained an unpretentious beach town vibe, and this apartment building is located half a block off of the main road (Hillsboro Boulevard) on a minor crossroad just a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to several nice restaurants and shopping. You could stay here and enjoy a week on the beach without the expense of a rental car.
Spacious: The apartment has an open plan kitchen/dining/living area conducive to family gathering, and ample closets and bedroom. Our unit had a very nice private patio with an outdoor dining set and chaise.
New and clean: Just refurbished in January 2014 with everything new: furniture, plumbing, paint, TV's, tile, kitchen, sheets and towels, utensils, appliances. Even the landscaping is all new. Direct TV and wireless internet.
Attractive: nicely appointed with granite counters, good quality appointments, and bright modern lines.
Management: The owner is enthusiastic about doing everything she can to make her renters comfortable and develop a repeat clientele. She is an outgoing "people person" and she and her husband went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted and expected. For the couple of things we requested, she reacted the same day to accommodate us.
About us: We are a professional couple moving down to the area from Philadelphia. We needed a place for 5 weeks pending settlement on our new house in Ft. Lauderdale and couldn't bear the idea of living for a month in a motel. We were in the area and able to come by and look at the property before committing to the rental. This is our second (successful) VRBO rental.
Homeowner associations and condo rules in this area often limit rentals to "seasonal" three month minimums, so it is a rare find to be this close to the beach, this new and well maintained, and available on such flexible terms. Highly recommended!!
