Hear the Gulf waves, breath the salt air; feel the sand, see the sun rise & fall

Located directly on the beach in Tower 1 of Grand Panama Beach Resort, the views of the Gulf with turquoise water and sugar sand beaches are perfect!

When we purchased Grand Panama 602, my wife Vicki, insisted on certain essentials.

First, our beach home could neither be too high nor too low; too high that it scared those afraid of heights or concerned parents with small kids, or too low that the clamor of tourists interrupted the calm sound of the ocean and beauty of the shores.

So we waited until we found our vacation home at just the right height, the 6th floor of Grand Panama Beach resort.

The Gulf-front balcony has breathtaking views!

Vicki also knew that our guests require our condo to be beautifully decorated, well-maintained and clean.

Grand Panama 602 has been luxuriously decorated. It is large enough to comfortably accommodate a family of six, but not too large that it invites packed-in spring breakers who add too much wear and tear or damage our home.

The condo sleeps six with a maximum occupancy of eight. There are beds for four (a king and queen), and a comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the living area. If you have smaller kids that want to sleep on blow up mattresses, be sure and bring the air mattresses.

The spacious upscale kitchen features granite countertops and upgraded stainless steel appliances. It is stocked with everything you will need to prepare and enjoy your meals.

We've tried to think of everything to accommodate our guests, down to the coffee maker brewing above 200 degrees, coffee grinder and Colombian whole-bean coffee.

At meals, there is inside seating for 8; a bar area with 3 stools and dining table seating 5. There is additional seating for 4 on the balcony overlooking the Gulf.

The living room is spacious and comfortable, featuring a 50' HDTV, DVD player, and Roku player with Netflix for movies on demand.

Wi-Fi is provided throughout our unit. Each bedroom is equipped with Smart HDTV with Netflix streaming. There is easy access to HDMI inputs for video game consoles, so bring your console, games, and controllers.

Thirdly, Vicki wanted to be able to awake in the morning to a glorious view of the Gulf.

You can enjoy these glorious views from your king sized bed in the Gulf-front master suite.

The master bath has double sinks and spacious tiled shower with separate deep soaking tub.

Fourthly, my wife knew the importance of walking directly onto the beach from our condo:

'When people come to the beach, they want to be on the beach! Not carrying stuff across the street.' Vicki insisted.

Tower 1, in Grand Panama Beach Resort is directly on the beach.

The resort has many amenities including two large pools (one heated in Tower 2), a heated whirlpool (Tower 1), workout room, and just a short walk down the beach from the city pier.

Finally, location, location, location! Having grown up near the beach, Vicki knew first-hand how difficult traffic can be.

She was concerned that our guests be able to avoid the tremendous headache of traffic backed up on Front Beach Road, Thomas Drive, and Pier Park yet, still have quick access these same places.

She did it! You could not pick a better place to have easy, quick access to all of these popular attractions, avoid the headaches of traffic, and yet still be located on the beach in a central location.

Grand Panama Beach Resort has direct access to Middle and Back Beach Road. This roads provide quick, traffic-minimized access to nearly anywhere in minutes.

You have excellent access to both ends of the beach, east and west.

Going west, Pier Park is only four miles, and it feels even closer. You can get there in minutes on Back Beach Road, quicker than if a mile away on Front Beach Road. Getting to Seaside, and the beaches of 30A is easy as well.

Going east, you are only minutes from Thomas Drive, Panama City, and Historic St. Andrews Bay.

Few resorts are so central and yet so accessible. You can enjoy restaurants such as The Saltwater Grill, Dusty’s Oyster Bar, Hunts Seafood, Gracie Raes, Wicked Wheel, The Seafood and Oyster House, Starbucks, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville.

The Bonefish Grill and Another Broken Egg are a short walk behind Tower 2. Pier Park has excellent anchor stores and hundreds of specialty shops, so you can shop all you want or enjoy a movie at the 16 screen Grand Theater.

WalMart and Target, both with grocery sections, and Publix grocery store are close by for your vacation needs. If you are interested in golf, the Hombre Golf Club, Golf Depot, Legend's Edge, Nature Walk Golf Club, Shark's Tooth, Windswept Dunes, and Signal Hill are just a few of the top rated courses in the area. Shipwreck Island water park is just around the corner and several mini-golf courses are very close.

You don’t have to leave the resort, but if you do, you can get pretty much anywhere easily without being swallowed up in frustration of traffic!

Vicki and I (Mike) welcome you to share Grand Panama 602 with us. Our hope is that you will return again and again, and you will share your positive experience with your friends and family. That is the greatest review!

Note concerning negotiating rates:

Since we've received several requests asking to accept significantly discounted rates, addressing the issue openly may save unnecessary time for those looking for steep discounts.

We offer discounted rates based upon a) seasonal rates and b) weekly length of stay.

We've made it a priority to avoid churning days rented or housing too many people at one time in order to pay for our condo. This is a primary reason for renting by owner.

It is best for all our guests to conservatively rent Grand Panama 602 at good consistent rates.

We want our condo to be your home-away-from-home so that you will want to return and tell others about us.

Note about check-in:

The HOA of Grand Panama passed a $20 check-in fee for guests. Though this seems inconvenient, it is actually for all our benefit.

If you have been to Panama City Beach during Spring Break and Peak Season, then you may know the complications surrounding parking, cleaning and security.

Caretakers of our resort wish to increase monitoring and control of the parking area and common areas during this time so you will further enjoy your stay with us.

Though we are managing Grand Panama 602 through HomeAway/VRBO, each guest should check in with the front desk upon arrival to receive your parking passes, amenities access card, and the owners locker access card.

I half-heartedly apologize for this inconvenience. I wish it had been implemented at no charge to our guests. However, overall, it seems a wise stewardship of the common areas for the benefit of all our guests so that Grand Panama can maintain its reputation for excellence.

Mike and Vicki live in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, about 15 miles outside Nashville. For the past 13 years, Mike has pastored Hickory Grove Church, PCA while Vicki has worked in the Wilson County School system as a Speech Language Pathologist. We have four children from ages 23 to 14.

Why Mike and Vicki Graham chose Florida North West

Vicki grew up not far from the beach in Enterprise, Alabama. I grew up on the Gulf of Mexico in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. So the salt air of the gulf, and pristine beaches is in our blood.

In 2010, after the real estate depression of 2007, we purchased a cabin in Gatlinburg, TN, and have been successfully renting it through VRBO for three years.

With the beach stabilizing over the past couple of years, and HOA's getting their house in order, we decided to turn our attention back to the beach this year.

We never dreamed we could purchase such a great beach vacation home, at a good price, in such a great location. We are so grateful to be able to share it with you!

Very clean and beautiful condo

This was the cleanest condo we have ever rented and I am a clean freak.The decor is also very tasteful. The kitchen was very well equipped with nice quality items, which is rare. I want a blender like that! The weather didn't cooperate so we especially appreciated the TVs in all rooms. Our only complaint is the bed in the master bedroom. The mattress had saggy spots on both sides (slept in holes.) Also when we rolled over, the bed frame squeaked loudly. (We are average size adults.) The little extras like paper towels, toilet paper, spices, etc were unexpected and a very nice touch. The pool areas were great with lots of comfy chairs. We appreciated the use of paddle ball and beach chairs.

Nice view but....

everything about that condo was nice accept that it was lots of dust and dirt all over. Fridge was dirty inside and out. I Think that people who clean that place need to do better job for the owners. Base boards was sprayed with some dogs urine and our dog was going crazy for all that smell before we clean it all up. There lots of human hair on pillow cases when we arrived and it was exchanged next day morning. Besides that it was nice place to stay. Very nice location and lots of stores and restaurants to explore. Brand new cook ware witch was very nice and clean.

Beautiful Sunsets and Full Moon

My Mom (84) and I had a great stay at the condo. The weather was great and we spent much time on the patio reading books and watching the birds. Dolphins came by several times.

The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Very clean.

Amazing views and accommodations

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about Mike and Vicky's condo. Every detail to design and decorations, the cleanliness. You would never know dogs were allowed here, it's that clean. Amazing views of the beach/ocean and pool below. Spacious condo with everything you need. The coffee grinder wasn't put together correctly by previous guests? But once I got some beans out of the way of the base of the grinder and reassembled it, it worked perfectly. Also, parking garage and luggage racks were extremely convenient to load and unload car. The beach chairs that are kept in the storage locker were used every day. We purchased our own umbrella for shade at the Publix. You might want to do the same. The chairs and umbrellas for rent in the beach are expensive! We would definitely stay here again with our corgi(who was a hit with all the guests)! Thanks for such a great place to stay!

Family vacation with grandson

First, I must say the owners are the nicest people I have ever worked with on a rental property. They are fast at responding to any questions or concerns that you may have.

The condo is beautiful and well kept. Everything is top of the line! It has a beautiful view!

I am not used to staying in that large of a complex. It took some getting used to with the parking being on the other side of the road etc... :).

We did appreciate being able to bring our dog!
