Cozy and comfortable
Nice cozy homebase on the edge of town. We were warm and comfortable after a couple of chilly days fishing in the park.
Very good location, close to the park gate
This condo is very close to gate as well as for restaurants. Staff is so friendly and give quick response
Nice property in West Yelowstone
Our group was travelling around the Yellowstone/Tetons area for 8 days and needed a place to say in West Yellowstone for 2 nights. This place was a great location and accommodated our entire group well. It was really nice that they had a washer and dryer too as it was the 1/2 way point of our trip and we were able to do laundry. It's also very close to everything in town - only a few minutes drive which is convenient.
2 observations: (1) We got there close to 9:30/10pm and it was dark. We had the address and the name of the building but the building has several units and we weren't told which unit was ours. However, I called Ramona and she answered right away and told us which one was ours and then we looked around in the dark to find it. Ramona also drove over a few minutes after I called her which was very nice of her but we found it by then. (2) The hot water in the shower seemed to be hit or miss. We ended up waiting a while between each person showering to try to get hot water but even then it was hit or miss.
FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY....ANYWHERE ELSE!
THIS IS THE LETTER I WROTE TO THE OWNER ON SEPT. 29TH. I FOLLOWED UP WITH HER A WEEK LATER, AFTER GETTING NO RESPONSE. I STILL HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE.
We recently stayed here while visiting Yellowstone National Park. We were very pleased with the online description and pictures of your property. Unfortunately, those pictures did not accurately depict what we found upon arrival. We hope that you live elsewhere and have not been told about the repairs and cleaning needed.
Following is a list of the issues we had during our stay. We did not contact you, because short of a massive cleaning and remodeling, nothing could have been remedied during our visit. Most of the issues are lack of cleanliness, but some are safety issues. My husband is disabled and tripped several times on the buckled carpet and had to be helped up the front/broken steps with no handrails. We do have many pictures if needed.
*Inches of dust and debris behind the beds. I only looked, because I needed the plug.
*Massive mold in both bathrooms on walls, ceiling and tub.
*Coffee grounds on kitchen counter.
*Clumps of hair on upstairs bedroom carpet.
*Several plugs that were not functioning.
*Musty smell in entire home
*Buckled carpet on stairs and other places.
*Broken front step.
*No exhaust fan in basement bathroom.
*Basement carpet severely stained w/horrid odor. Windows needed to be kept open to alleviate some of the smell.
*3 basement lights not working.
*Almost every closet door is broken.
*Furniture not as pictured on website.
*Fan that had to be used (because property was unbearably hot) had inches of filth and dust. Ultimately could not be used because of this.
*Not sure who wrote the early reviews on VRBO, but there were no toiletries (none were expected) and the property was far from habitable.
oldre ystone condo
the property needs many updates no bath on main leavel about 3 lamps did not work we bought bulbs lighting very poor fair location but at very end of town this property needs improvement
Great location, disappointing accomodation
The condo is old and not well maintained. There is mold in the tub/shower and rust in the bathroom sinks. The bedroom carpets are dirty, furniture is outdated and dirty in the living room, the light over the kitchen sink is out and there is very little light in the kitchen. The basement bedroom is musty and damp. There is no air conditioning. The location is great, quiet and close to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, but the accommodations are not worth the price. I would not recommend this rental condo to anybody.
Visit Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. Yellowstone National Park Entrance is 5 blocks away. Zip-line 2 blocks away.
