Cozy home, great location, helpful owner
We LOVED our stay in Boulder. Susie was incredibly helpful and happy to chat and give advice on our stay. The house had everything we could possibly need and more. It's super cozy and furnished nicely -- great bedding, paintings, comfy furniture, etc. It has a great large kitchen/livingroom stocked with tons of kitchen tools for cooking. AND location, location, location... a neighborhood with super cute homes, very easy walk to places and access to foothill trails. It was too cold to use the backyard but would be awesome in other seasons.
The Mapleton Hill House is a gem!
Our family of four stayed for a week in the home while we were in Boulder for a college tour at CU. Susie and Scott are so gracious and welcoming and they made our stay absolutely stress free. They went above and beyond with recommendations for hiking and restaurants and making sure we had everything we needed at the house including a small welcome gift of wine and beer. The house itself is situated on a safe, quiet street and couldn't be more comfortable. It is well-appointed, well-organized and spotless. The backyard area was a great place to sit and relax in the evening with a glass of wine which we did several times. From the house you can walk to the nearby shopping center (coffee, bagels, pizza and ice cream as well as a small Whole Foods) or to the Pearl Street mall. It is also a very close to some great hiking trails. I highly recommend the Mapleton Hill House. Hope to stay again on a future visit to Boulder!
Beautiful home, great location close to downtown, perfect for Ironman weekend!
My family and I stayed in the home during the recent Ironman weekend. Owners were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had everything needed. The home is beautifully maintained with great charm and a nice back yard. The location is minutes from the downtown area, easy to get to, and on a quiet street. I'd recommend the home for anyone looking to be close to downtown Boulder and have a stay with great owners.
Thanks again! And if I decide to take on Ironman Boulder again, we'd hope to stay at the Mapleton Hill House.
Thanks Erik, You and your family were extremely easy guests. Loved meeting your parents, sorry we didn't get to meet. Happy to host you again, if you find yourself back in Boulder!
Wonderful hosts, perfect location, sweet place
Very simple, clean space with deck and yard and lots of light perched among the trees. We brought our bikes to boulder for the weekend, having chosen this location knowing boulder is most easily navigated on bikes. Susie and Scott were wonderful hosts. They were eager to make certain we had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend, including garbage bag ponchos and umbrellas for a rainy football game. Easy, safe place to keep our bikes. Lovely, friendly dog named Stella. Highly recommended place.
Fantastic Mapleton Hill home
My extended family stayed here for graduation weekend this year when my husband got his PhD, and we all LOVED it. There were 11 of us, so we rented both the main house and the carriage house, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house feels much more spacious than I expected from some of the photos (particularly the kitchen/family room in the rear of the house), and the yard was big enough to have a fantastic graduation party catered with room for kids to run around, too.
The owners Scott and Susie were easy to work with throughout the entire process, returning emails promptly at every step and giving us a clear, helpful check-in, too. They came right over when we needed extra towels (they happened to be staying in the neighborhood while we were there) and even borrowed an iron from a neighbor for me when I had a graduation-gown-ironing emergency! ;-) They truly did everything possible to make sure our stay was enjoyable.
We cooked for everyone in their kitchen, using their great gas grill outside, and saved SO much money by mostly avoiding restaurants with our big group (and on one of the busiest Boulder weekends of the year.) It was also so great to have an outdoor space (complete with a bunch of balls to entertain my toddler!), and staying in the master bedroom was like staying in a great hotel- the bathroom is WONDERFUL and the space feels really private and separate from the rest of the house.
I lived in Boulder for 6 years, leaving in 2013, and believe me- this is the location you want to be in when you are staying in Boulder- Mapleton Hill is fantastic, and Scott and Susie were exactly what you hope for in a rental host.
We stayed at this lovely home with family members with ages ranging from 1 to 84 and we all found it cozy and inviting. The home owners went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The home was spacious, clean, very beautifully laid out and the yard fun for our toddler grandson. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen a delight. It felt like we were staying with friends! I would highly recommend this rental house--the owners were wonderful to work with.
This charming house is located in the Mapleton Hill Neighborhood just a short walk to Pearl Street, north Boulder park, local Vics coffee, Moes Bagels, Sweet Cow, and the Hungry Toad pub. You will enjoy the best of Boulder without getting into your car.
