This is a comfortable and relaxed family home - ideal for those with pets as there is a large fenced backyard! This house has just been updated - all freshly painted with new hardwood floor in kitchen. The house is light and bright inside - easy to work in kitchen with plenty counter space and a round glass table in breakfast nook for that first cup of coffee. The living room is furnished with sofa and easy chairs and of course there is a flat screen tvdvd and wifi. There is a large round dining table also for a more formal meal.

There are sliding glass doors leading from the living room to the large back deck, complete with patio chairs and table and a brand new gas grill.

The laundry area is behind bi-fold doors just before you walk through to the bedrooms.

The main bathroom is between the bedrooms and has a tiled walk in shower and vanity and toilet.

There are 3 bedrooms - 1 double with ceiling fan and flat screen tv and also a small ensuite bathroom with vanity and toilet; 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds with ceiling fan and the master bedroom has 1 queen bed, ceiling fan and flat screen tv.

All bedroom furnishings are new and the bedding is nice and beachy.

There is a cozy upstairs ocean view studio apartment also with 1 king bed, ceiling fan, tv and full bathroom with tub/shower combo.

Cozy Spot with Short Walk to Beach

This rental offers the perfect location: a short walk to the beach and a short drive to shopping, dining and historical locations. The living area is comfy and bright. The bedrooms provide plenty of space for a large family. We loved being able to grill and, with the beach being so close, dining on the beach while watching the sunset! Will definitely be back!

Very clean, quiet and comfortable

Very clean and bright home with wonderfully comfortable beds. Great location walk to beach short drive to historical district. Upstairs would be better with separate A/C system. Our pet didn't like gravel yard in back or sand spurs in grass though.

Wonderful House!

My family stayed at this house and it was wonderful! Looks just like the photos. Very spacious and open. Short walk to the beach makes this house a must for our future travels to the area. Being able to bring my furry baby was great. I stayed upstairs so that if I went somewhere and the others didn't want to mess with him he was content being in his kennel while I was not there. Rhona, property manager, was very responsive to my emails to make sure we had everything we needed prior to arriving, which made our visit extremely relaxing.

A Block from The Sea!

Very comfortable and casual -- lovely deck with enclosed back yard is great if you have pets. Everything clean and in good repair. Cheery and well stocked. Delightfully close to the beach and a very short drive to the Historic District. Upstairs suite a fabulous place to have friends visit but not be TOO close! Excellent Property Manager provided fast response to all needs or requests. Such a nice place to stay that we will be going back!

Great Vacation Choice

This was the perfect place for me to stay with my dogs. In fact, it's a great place to stay with, or without pets. The house is cheery and comfortable and stocked with almost everything you may need during your vacation stay. For dog owners, the enclosed back yard and deck is an added bonus. Just loved my stay. No complaints.

My friend and I had a lovely stay. Very bright, very clean, very beachy. Love the beach view from the upstairs unit. We were very comfortable and the beach was only like 150 footsteps away, perfect. Liked how close it was to downtown and Ft Clinch.

Amelia Island has something for everyone young and old.

Miles of wonderful unspoiled beaches with no crowds to speak of; the downtown historic district with fabulous restaurants, mouthwatering chocolate and ice cream stores and unique stores where you can browse for hours;lots of activities from hunting for sharks' teeth on the beach to kayaking to golf/tennis - or just relaxing in a beach chair with a cold beer and a good book - there won't be enough time in your stay to do all you want to do - so you will have to return!

Don't miss a trip to Cumberland Island - you can take the ferry from St Mary's and enjoy a day on this beautiful island with miles of beaches, ruins and wild horses.

And it is always fun to take a boat ride - I especially love the sunset cruise from the marina downtown - 2 very pleasant hours learning the history of the island and being on the water - you will see great views of Fort Clinch and you will motor past Cumberland Island where you may be lucky enough to see the wild horses down close to the shore - and you will almost certainly see dolphin and possibly sea turtles.

Our little island has so much to offer - come and see for yourself!
