About Alex and Terri Cole
We are a married couple of 30 years and have traveled the world together. We bought our home in Lake Tahoe to build a special place for us to enjoy one of the most beautiful places on earth. We now live in Portland Oregon where we own and operate a thriving Yoga Studio, YoYoYogi and have decided to share our little slice of heaven with those who will appreciate appreciate the opportunity to escape as much as we do.
Alex and Terri Cole purchased this Cabin in 2006
Why Alex and Terri Cole chose Incline Village
This is a very special place. The cabin sits at the end of a lane, on a point overlooking Diamond Peak Ski Resort and the Tahoe Forest. We opened it up with walls of French Windows and Doors to take advantage of the incredible views. When you are in this cabin, the world recedes and relaxation descends and this is what a vacation home should afford.
What makes this Cabin unique
There is something magical about sitting in the hot tub at night, star gazing, and waiting for the moon to rise over Diamond Peak. On a full moon night, you feel as though you could reach out and touch it. Then retire to the great room and roaring fire in the stone fireplace. It's what magic nights are made of.

Love this quaint cabin!
Our 2nd stay and we love it even more. So cozy and warm with the best view.
Great location and lovely views. A few small issues
We enjoyed our stay in Incline Village- the house was in a great location-
hiking across the street and we loved the deck and hot tub. It's a short ride to town and having a guest pass for beach access was fantastic.
From the listing we thought there would be a grill but when we arrived the grill was tucked away under the deck and appeared broken so we cooked dinner on the stove. The bedding on the bed appeared dirty so we changed it with clean linens in the closet. Also walking around barefoot the floors felt dirty and there were large clumps of hair in the shower.
That being said most of the time at the house was spent sitting outside on the lovely deck.
Great location, amenities. Esp liked the proximity to hiking trail and fabulous beache's.
Great location. Loved jacuzzi and large decks. House cozy and inviting.
Terrific location and view, but not very comfortable. Needs work and furniture.
Hot tub and deck need repair, including installation of a gate; French doors to deck need repair for open air acces and security; deck furniture is one flimsy plastic chair and needs something much better; interior needs COMFORTABLE sectional; TV needs better service plan; needs BBQ.
On the plus side the location is excellent and the view of hillside from the deck and hot tub is terrific as well as the sound of the nearby stream. The remaining amenities are adequate.
Adequate for our short stay but will likely go elsewhere next visit
We had trouble sleeping as 1) sheets were starchy, scratchy - very uncomfortable
2) pillows were hard ( thankfully we brought 2 pillows just in case)
3) summer heat- no A/C. We could deal with the lack of AC during the day as we were out all day. However it made the nights difficult to sleep.
Windows opened at night only invited in all types of flying bugs as there were no screens on the bedroom windows.
Could not enjoy the outdoor deck at night as lights did not work- could have been burned out bulbs- but this should have been checked by the cleaning crew prior to our arrival.
4) Cable TV had about 5 channels- No CNN or other channels that we enjoy to relax at the end of the day
Good notes- Nice having a washer/dryer, the sound of the waterfall/rushing stream across the road was great at night ( but alas the bugs flew into the open window due to lack of proper screens)
We have had several vacation rentals ( in another state) that we own so perhaps we expect the same level of maintenance and care that we provide own guests. The owners may want to consider having a checklist for the cleaning crew to ensure that everything is ready for future guests.
5-Star fun in Lake Tahoe
What a beautiful chalet in Incline Village. At 7100 ft above sea level, looking out to the Diamond Peak Ski Resort was so nice. Just outside our door we began hiking on a 5 mile trail that captures all the essence of the Sierra experience. Rock formations, wild flowers, several evergreen and deciduous trees and shrubs. Soon after a great hike, we headed to the beach. A quick drive to white sand beaches and time to relax. Next we had several dining options and also enjoyed take out meals to bring home to our private paradise.
