Black Hills a great location

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our week in the Black Hills. The house is in a nearly perfect location. It was always a great end of the day to watch the sunset from the porch while the deer gathered and the horses roamed. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Custer during season has good restaurants (especially the pie store) and a very good grocery store. It is close to Custer state park, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Jewel Cave, Wind Cave and Mammoth in Hot Springs. All worth a visit. Tim and Dawn were perfect owners who take pride in their VRBO rental. They are accessible when needed and pleasure to talk with.

The backyard is amazing. Huge yard!

  • 5 of 5

The house is pristine. She has a lot of the essentials stocked in the kitchen. It slept 11 comfortably but unless you have small kids it doesn't fit anymore. It is the perfect location to Custer State Park and the monuments. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and clean. Would recommend !!

  • 5 of 5

Being in this part of the world for the first time we did not know what to expect. The pictures of this property don't do it justice. It is better in person. Dawn was very accommodating and communicated with us promptly. Seeing the deer at night snooping around the backyard and scrambling away we drove in each night was cute and reminded us of where we were. Everything you need to cook is here. Our kids loved the bunk beds and backyard. Garage was nice to have to next to house to ease packing and unpacking. Close to Custer eateries and crazy horse. A little longer to Mt Rushmore but not too bad a drive. Very close to Wind Cave and Jewel Cave. Overall we had a great time.

Neat as a pin, tidy, pure organic soaps, well kept charming home!

  • 5 of 5

First experience ever in a VRBO. Unbelievable stay. Gorgeous location...the view out the back is peaceful and relaxing. The home was well thought out for layout/design. Big garage and yard. Did I mention clean! We had 10 in our group and every one of us enjoyed this home. It was crowded at dinner time...but half went outside to eat. If there was one thing that I was surprised at...it was the amount of time the oven took to pre-heat. That would be our only complaint. And...once we realized how long it took...we turned it on soon the next night. Never a problem. I would return here in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! If you are one the fence about where to stay...this one is a keeper! you will not be disappointed. Within 10-30 minutes of any tourist trip.
