Just another day in paradise to enjoy this beautiful custom home that shines above all the rest! Located on a very quiet and private cul-de-sac in the exclusive deep draft sailboat section of Punta Gorda Isles. Once inside you'll feel instantly relaxed in this very comfortable and stylishly appointed home with all high end furnishings and decorator touches throughout the house. The ''disappearing corner' allows you to open the glass doors in the living and dining room to the lanai and pool and enjoy the fresh air and lovely views of the canal. Have breakfast, lunch or dinner on your deck complete with huge outdoor grill, sink and refrigerator. It has a heated screened pool with jacuzzi spa facing West (great for enjoying the sun and for taking those beautiful sunset pictures).

The fully stocked gourmet kitchen is an open plan to the family room and dining area. The bar area seats 3. The living room has a TV, DVD and music system with ceiling speakers in the living room and master bedroom. There are spectacular lighting features throughout the house in the trayed ceilings, under counters, and upper cabinets. There are ceiling fans to keep you cool in all the rooms, and two on the lanai.

There is a separate private office for those 'gotta take care of business' moments complete with desk and wireless printer. There is also a free wireless internet connection.

A full house intercom system with radio can be used for background music to calm and relax.

There is a 2 car garage and gardens surround the property which backs on to a saltwater canal with your own private 75ft. dock for fishing or boating.

Monthly Rentals Only during Winter/Spring ($5000.00 - 4 week minimum stay).

Weekly rentals available during Summer/Fall ($800.00 per week)

Punta Gorda: The quaint waterfront town is known to be one of the best small towns in America. This is a great boating community and has many quiet streets and paths for bicycling.

AIRPORTS: Less than 45 minutes to Regional South West Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers or 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Tampa International Airport (TPA). Fly Direct Air into Punta Gorda Airport 10 minutes from house.

RENTAL CAR: Enterprise, Hertz and Avis are located in Punta Gorda area or at the Airports.

SHOPPING: Less than 5 minutes to Fisherman's Village with lots of charming shops and waterfront restaurants. In downtown, less than 10 minutes, there are more restaurants, shops, banks and grocery stores.

Isles Yacht Club: The Isles Yacht Club has seasonal / short term memberships available. The Yacht Club hosts fine dining, many functions/clubs, a gym, a pool and docks. It has reciprocity agreements with many other Yacht Clubs.

GOLF: Closest is a private golf course St. Andrews South Country Club & Golf course less than 5 minute walk from house and long term guests can obtain memberships.

Highly Recommend This Jewel of a House!

My husband and I have stayed at a number of homes in Punta Gorda, this home is the nicest home we have ever stayed at! We will return in the future for all of our Florida holidays. The home is decorator finished with lovely furniture, very comfortable beds, beautiful window coverings, pretty art and a complete kitchen with everything needed to make a gourmet meal.

The swimming pool is steps from the back door, the bar-b-q is built in and fabulous for making everything from burgers to a roast on the built in rotisserie. The outdoor mini kitchen and refrigerator makes cooking and enjoying a cold beverage a breeze. The house back yard and pool faces west and we had beautiful sunshine right up until sunset. The yard is beautiful and the view across the canal is park like. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet.

The owner answered any questions we asked about TV and internet functions by telephone and checked on us during our stay.

The house is a short drive to downtown Punta Gorda. The Saturday morning Farmers Market is a fun way to spend the morning. Highly recommend this house!

Lovely home and great view!!!

We have been returning renters to this home now 4 times and have been extremely happy. The home is kept in immaculate condition, tastefully furnished, and we have found the owner to be very responsive.

We have never encountered an electrical or cockroach problem and would certainly recommend a pleasurable stay at this location. It is close to Fisherman's Village and the downtown historic district of Punta Gorda.

Beautiful home! Great view!

Our stay at this lovely house was great. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with almost no traffic and felt like a private get away. The house is furnished with beautiful furniture and accessories without being "Cliche Florida". The owners keep very few personal items there, so the the house is welcoming without feeling like you are intruding on anyone else's 'stuff'.

Everything we needed was stocked in the kitchen, bath and bedrooms. Many of the appliances were new (refrigerator, washer, dryer) and other appliances worked great. The house has many high-end lighting features...so many that the electrical switches were even labeled for easy identification...this helped A Lot! The beds had great mattresses and were very comfortable. The TV could have been larger but then again, who wants to watch TV when you are on vacation?!

The owner made us feel very welcome and was easy to talk to when we needed any information, altho a "renter's manual' was provided to let us know any and all pertinent information (ie trash day, operating instructions, etc).

Would recommend this property, and plan on reserving again next year.

BEWARE

Be aware that, although the house seems nice, there are some serious issues (such as electrical/cockroaches). The owner requires a large damage deposit and we had a hard time getting any of our funds back after the rental period was over. There was no damage done to the house (we are a retired couple) but the owner withheld funds without providing any accounting. Emails to the landlord during our rental and after have gone unanswered. Just a warning ... if you rent from him, don't expect your deposit back.

Owner's Response: The renter left a dirty house with some damage that they acknowledged. I kept part of the damage deposit to pay for the extra cleaning charged by the cleaning service and to make the necessary repairs. I returned the balance from the damage deposit within 3 weeks of their departure which is within the time period specified in the lease agreement. The house is treated by a pest control company on a regular basis.. The renter kept the garbage can in the garage which attracted insects. Upon the renters departure the garbage can was relocated out of doors to its correct location. I sent a detailed list of the costs to make the repairs to the tenant. In 4 years of renting the house seasonally this was the worst renter I have had! I responded to any emails promptly. The renter never told me they had damaged an electrical switch or broke a blind cord, all of which I found on inspection between renters. If you have any questions, please write. Thank you. Kyle
