About this property

Our wonderful vacation retreat at Silver Sands Racquet Club is available for monthly rental throughout the year.

Silver Sands is conveniently located at the corner of Country Club Drive and Portola Avenue. Silver Sands is a guard-gated community of friendly owners with 256 individual one story villas built in 1983 with 15 shared heated swimming pools and 15 shared spas.

Each unit is very private. 23 Ensenada is an end unit located in a quiet area of the complex. The homes at Silver Sands are Spanish style one story villas with private courtyards and 2 car garages. We have fantastic scenic views of the Santa Rosa mountains and Mt. San Jacinto. The tennis complex has 8 courts, a clubhouse, and a tennis pro on site from October through May. There is no cost to tenants to play tennis. Courts have lighting for night play. Lessons are available for a fee.

Our home has a wraparound private, south facing patio with BBQ with enough space for entertaining. There are two bedrooms each with a king bed and two bathrooms.

Our vacation home is fully equipped. We have four tennis racquets and two adult bicycles for use during your stay.

What a wonderful location and right in the middle of our "sphere" of activities and friends. The home was welcoming and very well appointed. The wrap around patio was beautiful- just wish the weather had been warmer to enjoy it. The kitchen had the necessary appliances and cooking equipment for our needs, since we generally stay in for most meals. The bathrooms were updated and the beds were comfortable. We loved all of the PS photo artwork on the walls! Thank you for a wonderful stay in the desert.

Ideal stay and great location in a friendly gated community

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo in Palm Desert. The unit was clean, with a nice layout. The kitchen was well equipped with many necessities provided. The unit wasn't cluttered, it was quiet, and communication was good with the owners. The owner's were great to deal with throughout our stay.

Lovely Getaway

This is a great, relaxing property. Centrally located in Palm Desert--close to everything. Property is as described and pictures are accurate. Best thing in our opinion is the very private and large walled courtyard surrounding the property. Lots of room for BBQ's and lounging outside. Note:--go see what's available IN the property before you go to the market. There were laundry products, shampoos, conditioners, etc. as well as lots of small personal items (left by previous guests, I'm sure)--also some items in cabinets and refrigerator. Not tons, but probably stuff you can use WITHOUT added expense! It was a great vacation experience and we highly recommend it.

Living a dream in the desert.

The property was perfect. The home is fully equipped in all respects. The private patios made outdoor living quite enjoyable. Fresh picked grapefruit every morning was a delicious bonus. Silver Sands is centrally located to golf courses, grocery stores, shopping and many restaurants. Minutes to El Paseo and College of the Desert Street Fair. The locale is great for walking and cycling. The owner was extremely generous and responded immediately to all of our inquiries. We have recommended the condo to friends and will definitely return to stay again.
