Two Bedroom Two Bath Condo On Fort Myers Beach Florida

Two bedroom two bath unit, north end of Fort Myers Beach, between two County Parks. Walking distance to Times Square where all the shops and restaurants are located. The unit is a two bedroom two bath unit fully furnished. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom. The master bedroom has a full bathroom and there is another full guest bathroom. Come to the beach and relax or sit by the heated pool. The unit is fully furnished just bring the fun we have the sun.

Worst Stay Ever

I stayed at this owners front property which sat directly on the beach. The owner let us in a day early, which we greatly appreciated. On day 3 the air was frozen and the condo was not cooling. During the day the condo was the same temperature that it was outside, about 86 degrees. At night the temperature cooled off a bit so it was okay sleeping weather. We reached out to the owner when the air was broken and not working and the company that installed the air conditioner did not come out until 6pm the first two nights that it was broken and stated that they thought it needed freon and that they would come out the next day. It was not until that third day that the company actually came out and fixed what was installed wrong in the first place. It took all day and we were pretty much out of the condo all day on that day due to them working. During our stay, the television did not work either in the living area/kitchen. When we spoke to the owner about this he stated the tv needs to be on channel 3, which it was and if it does not work to call comcast. That is something that should not be left for the responsibility of the renter to call and fix the television. When the air was broken, the owner reached out to us the day that the air was getting fixed stating he could put us up in her condo in Casa Playa. We went and looked at the property and we were going to go from a king size bed to two twin beds and from a beachfront view to facing the parking lot. I paid to face the beach and not a parking lot, so I told the owner this will not work. He was so unwilling to work with us and waited until the day the actually came out to fix the air to offer us another room. When we asked about money back since his condo did not have a working television or working air conditioning for 3 plus days, he stated that I do not give money back and it is stated in my contract. His reasoning behind not giving money back is because he offered to put us in another condo and we declined. Why would I not have declined. I paid to look at the beach. He then offered to extend our stay, however this was also not possible because we had to get back to work and could not just not show up. I DO NOT recommend staying at any of this owners property. The condo seemed very dirty on arrival and the owner was not accommodatin at all. He is just a money thief. He honestly should have given me at least two days worth of my stay back due to the television and air not working. DON'T STAY HERE

Owner's Response: First of all I never spoke with Brittany, I always communicated with her "Boyfriend", I did meet her on the first day and she wasn't very friendly. They were given a discounted rate which I explained to her boyfriend on more than one occasion. Yes the air conditioner did malfunction and I immediately called a repair man. When I checked the thermostat it was set at 63 degrees and the unit had frozen up. I told the boyfriend he shouldn't set it so low. I did offer alternative accommodations while the unit was worked on, they declined. Remember it is November and almost no one had their air conditioning on at the beach, nice breeze, as a matter of fact for years I would shut the air off from Nov. to April or May. Anyway this is the first I'm hearing about the place being dirty. As for the TV I went in after they left and tightened the in cable and it worked fine, the place was a mess, it looked like children had lived there for a month. The thermostat was at 63 again. The Boyfriend did tell me that his girlfriend wasn't happy and as a result he constantly wined to me about getting money back. Getting money back seemed to be his only interest or concern. They left awhile back and didn't write this review until I declined to give them money back. So the feelings are mutual as far as I'm concerned they are not welcome back to Kona Beach Club.
