I have lived in Granville for over 40 years and have owned this house since I had it built in 1987.
Hedwig Noll purchased this house in 1987
Absolutely another great stay at one of my favorite places! This was my third year that I stayed here for a vacationThe owner is very nice and the home is beautiful! Always wish I didn't have to leave when my last day gets here! Will definitely return next year for another fun and relaxing week!!
I could rave about how great this owner and property is all day. I will just say that the property is just as beautiful as the pictures. It is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The pool is very well maintained and with all the beautiful landscaping it is very private. There is a wonderful assortment of local restaurants and a grocery within 1-2 miles. Can't wait to return for another fun relaxing getaway!
This house is great! The pool puts it over the top! My reason for not putting the 5 stars is simply because my toddler grandson was restricted due to the wide staircases. Our baby gates weren't wide enough to cover them. Also a lot of ornamental glassware. Great for families without toddlers. My 9-6 year old grandchildren had great fun in the pool. Would I stay there again? Yes, when the babies are older, or just because I want to swim! Loved it!
I rented this beautiful home last summer for a week and then again for a week this summer! I, along with family and a few friends, had the best time! I could have stayed for another week or longer!! The house is beautiful, and very clean, inside and out. The pool is awesome! The owner is extremely nice and makes sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. I'm hoping I will be returning next summer for another week of fun, but relaxing, vacation!! Thanks so much!!
Every year me and some guys from college get together for a weekend to just relax. We were originally drawn to this location due to the price and the pool, but on arrival we realized that we had hit the jackpot. The property and pool are even more gorgeous in person, but more importantly the house was immaculately maintained and extremely clean. As other reviews stated the bedrooms were great and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. We just left today, but we have already discussed coming back next year.
I manage a comfortable vacation rental on Lake Erie, so I am always curious about other VacationRentals.com offerings. Having enjoyed a week in Bavaria, this house instantly grabbed my attention.
My conversations with the owner, through the website and on the phone were very cordial and enjoyable.
I originally booked the house to attend my son's wedding reception in Newark. Within a couple of hours after showing him the website, he, two longtime friends from college and their wives had cancelled their hotel reservations to join me.
Inside, the house is everything is appears to be on the surface. It is charming, comfortable and elegant. There is no feature you could possibly want that the owner has not provided. There were seven in our party and we had ample room for all in the living room, formal dining room, breakfast nook or poolside.
Our last evening, we were discussing how much we enjoyed our stay. I loved the comment from one of the women, “This would be a great place to spend the holidays.” Indeed, it would.
The interior of the house is very clean and the house is well-maintained. The pictures on the website provide an accurate picture of what you will experience.
I would recommend the European Guesthouse to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with top of the line amenities.
This relatively secluded house is a short distance from charming restaurants and cafes in Granville, shopping in Newark or the airport in Columbus.
The European Guest House is located 30 miles from Columbus, Ohio, steps away from Kendal (an elite retirement community) and one mile from downtown Granville and Denison University. It is also a minute away from the Spring Valley Nature Preserve.
