We loved the cabin and was just the right size, stayed cool inside despite the 95 degree weather.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and would definitely stay again. The location is close to the SHARC and the Village. It's a huge bonus having SHARC passes. The owner was very responsive to questions and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Just what we were looking for

  • 4 of 5

Had a hick-up on check in - but after that stay was great. Just the little cabin we where looking for. We did bring our own coffee maker since they have the Kurig. Also, the bikes are getting old, so if you want to put on serious miles, bring your own.

Over-all great stay and would stay again.

Little piece of heaven

  • 4 of 5

I really enjoyed this gem. I brought my two kids and dog for a little get away and so glad I stumbled upon this rental. The size was perfect, the location beautiful. We had such a good time. My only reasons for not giving 5 stars was that the house was a little musty upon arrival. Likely do to dogs being allowed so not a huge deal. Also, the bikes had flats. In reading other reviews it seems they did a few weeks ago as well, so likely they were not replaced. This was disappointing as we rented a bike for my little one and wasn't able to join for a family bike ride upon getting back to cabin. The downstairs bed is soft which is fine, but it has a huge dip in the middle and is due to be replaced soon. Even with all of these minor things I would rent here again and absolutely loved our stay!

Perfect Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in the cabin 2 times now, and both have been wonderful stays! The first time my husband and I stayed in April (that review is below), this time our 3 children came with and we enjoyed a wonderful family vacation the last week of June. The cabin was squeaky clean upon arrival and had everything we needed with the exception of tin foil and olive oil. We just love the cozy, quaint cabin feel. Truly a gem among all the over sized houses in Sunriver and we hope to return in the future. Michele made it easy to reserve, pay, and check in. The grill did need a thorough cleaning before use, but my husband took care of that no problem. We brought our own bikes and I think you'd be better off doing the same, or renting, unless you bring an air pump for the flat bike tires (I think one needs to be completely replaced?). The child's bike was ok though. We enjoyed the hot tub every day and the 4 Sharc passes are a HUGE plus with this cabin (wish there had been more than 4 passes though as we are a family of 5, but we just payed for our youngest, no big deal.)! We went every day and got our fill of water fun. Definitely a highlight for the kids!! The Village was awesome and we had a blast shopping, eating out, and enjoying the bounce house, rock wall, bumper cars, etc. they had set up. Ice cream and treats at Goody's is a daily must. Sunriver is perfect for bike riding; we biked all over the place checking out parks, the Village, the Marina, and the Nature Center. Bring or rent a burley for the little ones for those longer bike rides! We visited the High Desert Museum, checked out Lave Butte, hiked the Deschutes River Trail to Benham Falls, hiked the Lava Tube, and hiked the Lava Cast Forest. The Lava Tube and Lava Cast Forest is a MUST! Dress warm for the Lava Tube (a constant 42* down there!) and bring lanterns/headlamps if you don't want to rent some. Bring a hat and sunscreen for the Lava Cast Forest or go in the morning when it's still cool out. That sun will get ya. There is an easy walking path with breathtaking views and it was fun to find the tree casts left by the lava flow. Super amazing, we really dug it. Overall: 5 stars!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the kids declared their favorite parts being the Sharc and Lava Tube. Only recommendation would be for the cabin to receive new tires on their bikes and the housekeeper to add cleaning the grill to her list. We loved this cabin and you will too! Thanks, Michele.

Absolutely loved it!

Only suggestion being the only female out of 6 is to hang a 2nd mirror somewhere in the cabin.
