Overview

About the property

This Modern Studio Loft Is Perfect For A Romantic Get-Away To Asheville.

Stay in the private guest quarters of this award-winning craftsman home located in an upscale Asheville neighborhood. Only a few minutes drive from the loft, enjoy the South Slope brewery district, downtown foodie heaven, boutique shopping, huge antique stores and the Biltmore Estate and winery. Our guests have given us 5 stars for our "immaculate accommodations," "most comfortable bed ever" and "close proximity to downtown."

The loft includes everything you need for a relaxing vacation: central heat/air, mini-fridge, coffee maker, washer/dryer, flat screen cable TV, wireless internet, luxurious linens, local original artwork and comfortable, modern furnishings - and much more. We provide our guests a list of Asheville's best attractions including restaurants, breweries, art galleries, antique shops, hikes, and bike rides, along with maps and brochures.

Our guests frequently use Uber to visit downtown Asheville. Many guests have enjoyed our recommendations for Bouchon French Comfort food (sit on the back patio), and Southern cuisine from Buxton Hall BBQ (save room for lemon meringue pie). Buxton is in the South Slope micro-brewery district, which cannot be missed. For cocktails, you will love MG Road on cobble-stoned Wall Street. And nobody can match Early Girl Eatery southern cuisine for breakfast.

Only a short 15 minute drive from our home, the Blue Ridge Parkway offers access to multiple outdoor activities. Explore beautiful trails, waterfalls and mountain vistas in Bent Creek, Mount Mitchell and Pisgah National Forest. We're always happy to share information on the best spots to mountain bike, hike, fish and boat.

This property is part of our primary residence, above our garage, and with a separate entrance for privacy. We provide off-street parking for our guests and a garage for extra storage. The loft is located on the second floor up a flight of steps, and is thus not wheelchair accessible.

This rental is suitable for only two adult guests and one child. We have a large comfy sofa that can serve as a bed, and a portable crib available upon request.

We look forward to sharing our beloved Asheville with you!

About Mae

We love hosting couples from all over the country, and sharing info about the best spots in our wonderful town. I grew up in the mountains of NC and my husband is from Michigan. We have lived in Asheville since 2002 and enjoy making art, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding and of course eating out in our amazing foodie town.

Mae purchased this studio in 2008

Why Mae chose Kenilworth

We chose to build our home in our location for its close proximity to downtown, combined with our quiet neighborhood which is pet/bike/child friendly. We are also conveniently located near the River Arts District, Brewery District and Biltmore Estate.

We love the mountains for many of the same reasons you are probably visiting: the clean air, mountain views, relaxed atmosphere, art, music, food, friendly people and endless things to do downtown and outdoors. Thank you for your interest in our property!

What makes this studio unique

I am an avid VRBO renter myself. Therefore, our property includes all the comforts and details I would want in a vacation rental myself. We provide high-end modern furnishings, linens, and entertainment. We use environmentally-friendly cleaning products, and we provide organic bath products. We look forward to hosting you in the loft!.

Great!

Charming! Beautifully decorated. One could stay there for an extended time as it is fully equipped, even a washer and dryer. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything! I would definitely stay there again.

Central to everything Asheville

  • 5 of 5

This quaint studio as everything you need for a place to rest and crash between your Asheville adventures. Comfy bedding, great shower head, well appointed and private. My only suggestion is to add a deflector on the heating register to avoid blowing on the bed. Otherwise, this was the perfect pls e for us.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the nice review! We are so glad you enjoyed the loft and its location. I'm sorry the HVAC unit was blowing on you in bed... it is usually set to blow away from the bed, and the settings must have been changed. We will make sure to resolve that right away. Hope to host you again!

Perfect and affordable

  • 5 of 5

We will be back next time we come to Asheville. The property is only around a 10 minute drive to downtown. And half the price of a hotel in downtown. Super cute and comfortable.
