Traditional beach house on stilts. MUST BE 28 or older to rent. NO pets. No smoking. Driveway parking for 4+ cars. First floor kitchen and living room have glass sliding doors that open onto furnished deck. First floor has one full bath with Tub/shower. 2 bedrooms located on first floor (1Full and 1Queen bedroom). Second floor has 2 bedrooms and a full bath (shower, no tub). 1King room and a 'kids room' with 3 single beds on second floor. Laundry room located on second floor. Just added outdoor shower with 2 shower heads, hot and cold water. Kitchen seats 6-8. dinnerware for 10. New stainless steel dishwasher and fridge with ice. Keurig and traditional coffee makers, blender, waffle maker. All bedrooms have room darkening curtains and nightlights .Coverlets/pillows/mattress covers are washed frequently and replaced often. Shawn and Margaret Mullins - Holly Springs, NC. Originally from NC my husband and I both spent time at North Carolina's beautiful beaches every summer. It has always been a dream of ours to own a home at the coast. In August of 2013 we purchased 400 Tennessee Ave. Now we enjoy time at our favorite beach with our three children, family and friends.

Great area! Beautiful Beaches, Ocean, Restaurants, Historic Sites, Shopping, Ferry, Fishing, Pier, Waterways, Seafood. Quiet street away from summer crowds and traffic, but still a short walk to the beach.The house floor plan is set up nicely for two families or extended family. Walk to Ocean Grill and Tiki bar. Only a few miles to Fort Fisher, NC Aquarium, Ferry to Southport.

What makes this house unique

Detached Beach House. No shared walls! Cable TV with movie channels in all rooms. Very clean and recently painted and decorated. Short walk to beach, Restaurants, Tiki bar. Nice set up for the entire family. All bedrooms have room darkening curtains and nightlights .Coverlets/pillows/mattress covers are washed frequently and replaced often. Fair cancellation policy includes %100 refund for bad weather systems / hurricane. Outdoor shower with 2 shower heads, hot and cold water.

After a few short hours the house felt like home. Spacious and clean. Rooms were a good size and comfortable. We had planned on staying 5 days and 4 nights but ended up staying an extra night(mother's day night). The owner was very understanding and didn't rip our heads off with our unexpected extra night. The owner was available when ever I needed to speak with her, which is very important, nothing is worse than having to wait days to hear back from someone. House was only a short walk from the beach, which was very comfortable, we could run back for water or the bathroom as we pleased. There are also showers installed in the back of the house which were awesome to help keep everything clean. The drive way is large and can park a lot of cars. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and everyone around was friendly. Close to gas stations, restaurants, and grocery stores. To add a cherry on top the owner really cares about her renters , after we left my nephew left a sneaker there and she found it and shipped it to us, with no charge. No questions asked one of our best places we've stayed with my family, and definitely look forward to coming back.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The kids room upstairs with the master was great for our two young kids. It was an easy walk to the beach and the double outdoor showers were helpful for our large family. Margaret was easy to work with and our security deposit was refunded in days!

Awesome location and felt like home!

We were looking at the last minute for somewhere to stay and stumbled on this property. One thing that impressed me was the simplicity of the charges, there was nothing hidden. I was more impressed with the owner who was very accommodating and helpful. The house was very nice and we truly felt at home! Large rooms, and plenty of space to sleep, access to internet and tv...but what was more awesome was the three block walk to the ocean. We LOVED that, and will for sure be back! The only suggestion i have is directions for the remotes for the tv. We figured it out, but that may be helpful to someone else. The ease of reserving was so nice.

House was very clean, well organized and up to date appliances. Neighbors very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely rent again and/or recommend to a friend! Homeowner helpful and willing to go the extra mile, even offering an extra night due to weather conditions for our drive home!

Beautiful home, great location.

Needed a rental for less than a full week in July, so my options were limited. But I was pleasantly surprised by this lovely home. Small, but well-laid out, and deck is a nice extension of the living space. Short walk to beach and getting up early to catch the sunrise is well worth it. Nice location near some great activities - Fort Fisher and NC Aquarium nearby, and USS North Carolina worth the drive to Wilmington. Owner is VERY responsive and pleasant to deal with, and my security deposit was refunded before my flight home landed.
