Great New Year vacation
This place is magical. The main level is stunning, with incredible craftsmanship that makes it feel like you're staying in a giant cabin. It's spacious but very cozy at the same time. Plenty of room for a huge dinner and plenty of recliners for sleeping off the meal afterwards. But downstairs! The downstairs is the best. It's the dream gameroom and fun basement you never had as a kid but wished you did. Ping-Pong, pool table, darts, fuzz ball, etc. The adults will spend more time down there than the kids. All in all, a vacation I'll never forget. What a wonderful spot!
Just got back from our weekend in Maine, what a great time we had. The house is every bit of what they describe and more. The newly cut ATV access trail and trail around the property were fun, sorry we weren't able to get through the mud pit, we'll try harder next time. The property its self is amazing, hearing the coyotes howling out at night while sitting by the fire pit just made for a perfect ending to each night. Property Manager spend a good amount of time showing us around and giving us more than enough info of the layout and area. Thanks for everything, cant wait to start planning our trip for next year, everyone (all 12) agreed this property was perfect.
Simple Easy Beautiful
I rented the last weekend in April. I was blown away by the amazing beauty of the lodge and the land. everything we needed was provided. We were able to cook over a fire for dinner, use the game room in the basement and do some sport shooting in the yard. The beds were comfortable, bathroom amazing and the kitchen was spectacular very easy to use. I will definitely be back next year!
This place is definitely large enough to accommodate large groups. We went up as a group of 8 and had plenty of room to where we were not all on top of each other. The main thing we regret is not bringing up our 4 wheelers. There is plenty of riding in the area and a few trails on the property. The view from the porch was amazing and where we spent most of our time. The rest of it was spent by the fire pit, where we also grilled up just about all our meals. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.
Myself, along with roughly twenty other guests, were privileged enough to stay in this beautiful vacation lodge. The views were absolutely stunning, along with the surrounding areas. On our trip, not too far from the lodge, we saw a moose for the first time, it was quite the experience! The house was very clean, neat and set up perfectly for a large group. All appliances were very modern and up to date as well. The house owner and manager were extremely kind and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience!
As a Small Non-Profit in Maine this place was perfect for our social gather. The property was very specious and the space was amazing for any party or event you are hosting. Amazing views, specious area with inside and outside recreation opportunities. Definitely a must for any group as the property manager is very accommodating and helpful.
Visitors can access such attractions as, the infamous 'Daggett Rock,' the Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad working museum, the Appalachian Trail, The new Fly Rod Crosby Trail to Rangeley, The new Perham Stream Birding Trail in East Madrid, Small Falls, The Wire Bridge, local historical societies and both the Rangeley Lakes State Park and Mt. Blue State Park. Come enjoy the ITS 89 snowmobile trail and the Black Fly Loop in western Maine. During the summer months, experience some of the best moose watching in all of Franklin County!
