Beautifully decorated, spacious corner unit with access to balconies and direct views of Little Lagoon from every room. Sleeps up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms with queen size beds plus a sofa bed in the living room. Two recently updated full bathrooms. A newly remodeled and well equipped kitchen with new appliances and granite counter-tops. Compass Point is a highly desirable complex with a wide variety of amenities for every member of your family to enjoy. Two pools – one inside and one outside. The outside pool area is amazing and located next to a private sandy beach on the lagoon. You can lounge by the pool while keeping an eye on your children playing in the sand and wading in the lagoon. If your preference is the Gulf – it is only a short walk to the public beach.

Boaters will enjoy the availability of a private boat ramp, trailer parking and several, first come - first serve boat slips. There is also a fishing pier and fish cleaning station. Little Lagoon is famous as a year round fishing destination. Kayaking, Canoeing and paddle boarding are all popular sports on this well protected lagoon. Day sailors and wind surfers will enjoy the fresh breezes and security of sailing on a land locked lagoon. For the more adventurous kayakers, there is access to the Gulf through The Pass.

My wife and I are relatively new to Alabama, but have quickly fallen in love with the Gulf Shores area. We have been to many coastal areas, but none compare to what we have found here in Alabama - an affordable, family friendly area with clean beaches and warm clear water.

Why John Streatfeild chose Alabama

We looked at many properties in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area, but kept coming back to Compass Point. Everyone we have met at Compass Point has been friendly and helpful - including the full time on site managers. We love the location on Little Lagoon and all the water sports activities it offers. When this corner unit with water views from every room became available it was an easy decision for us to make.

What makes this condo unique

I think what we most enjoy about about our unit is sitting in the living room or at the dining table and having a near panoramic view of Little Lagoon. A very special treat was waking up our first morning to the most spectacular view of the sunrise from our bedroom and living room.(see the photo in the listing)

Compass point is located west of central Gulf Shores. Far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to easily take advantage of all the amenities Gulf Shores and Orange Beach have to offer. It's great for walking and bicycle rides.

If you enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, wind surfing, sailing, fishing, walking on the beach or just relaxing by the pool - you will enjoy Compass Point.
