The Lemak Cottage first floor is designed with an open floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen outfitted with beautiful brand new appliances overlooks the large rectangular dining table set for 6. Just around the bend is a spacious living area furnished with comfortable seating for up to 6 people and prepared with all the luxuries of home. A large HDTV, Apple TV, Harmony Smart Remote, BluRay player and hooked up to a top of the line surround-sound system makes this space ideal for the sports fanatic and family movie time. The wireless internet capability and the private office space allow you to work from the beach!

You will find both bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom provides a king sized bed, smart HDTV and private bath. Additionally, the guest room is furnished with a king-sized bed, private bath and private balcony.

The Studio Carriage House is also included with the 2 bedroom Cottage. The Carriage House is furnished with a king-sized bed, a perfect size smart HDTV . In addition to a private closet, a kitchenette equipped with an sink and under the counter refrigerator make this Carriage House complete.

We loved the location very close to the square. The house had plenty of room for 6 people and beds were comfortable. We were disappointed in the condition of the home. It was in bad need of updating, especially paint and carpet which had numerous pet stains. We have been going to Rosemary for 10 years and have stayed in many different rentals. This was our least favorite and was just not up to standard for Rosemary. It wouldn't take much effort or money to get this place up to par.

Fall Break Heaven

We stayed at this property last year. We recommend it for its perfect location right next to shopping and restaurants. 2 minute walk to the beach. As always Chris and his team were very accomidating. The unit has seen some wear sine our last visit the carpeting in the upstairs has seen lots of traffic. There needs some painting and the oven is a puzzle, getting replaced soon and as soon as maintenance shows you how to work it you are fine. At first you feel is this place clean? But we soon found it just in need of TLC. We found no dirt, no dust, it is all cosmetics. The rug in the living room sheds by the end of the week it was all over the furniture and floors. The carriage house upon arrival was fine but by day 3 I could smell mildew, my guess would be the washing machine? Our only complaint is the app would never work for us but being Rosemary Veterans im guessing there is nothing on the app we need. We will definitely be back to this property again and again.

Family Trip Falls Short Due to Property

My family arrived to a home that was absolutely filthy and the Carriage house smelled like Mildew. After speaking with the maintenance team and staff the property was cleaned and was bearable from a cleanliness standpoint. However.......the carriage house still smelled. I ended up going to Patchouli, a local shop and getting room spray.There are many things regarding this property that any renter should know. The oven and stove are not in proper working condition. The dials are completely faded and there is no way to tell how to set them. I burned many things in my short stay due to the age on the kitchen oven. The maintenance team tried to help but no solution was ever reached. Also the oven door literally smacks the floor when opened posing a huge hazard to small children walking thru the kitchen. I had to keep my son out of the kitchen when attempting to cook in fear that he would burn himself. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a giant roach that crawled up the wall and behind the TV. The upstairs bathroom faucets are not operable. After attempting to give my son two baths we gave up because we could not get the faucets to work or turn properly. The blinds are tattered and quite frankly the rugs are disgusting. There was pet hair and human hair everywhere. The carpets upstairs are absolutely disgusting as well. Lastly, the home is located next to an older fountain which we quickly discovered was a breeding ground for mosquitos. Spending time on the front porch was at times unbearable due to the amount of bites we would get. Needless to stay the property fell very short of our expectation. After three maintenance visits ON THE FIRST DAY and many conversations between the manager and his team I would say we were very unsatisfied. Hollie and her husband, the two that helped with cleaning and other issues, were very nice and did all that they could; however many of the problems could not be fixed in the time frame of our stay. For what we paid and the response that we got from the property manager, Chris, was sub par. I have stayed in Rosemary for over 10 years and have never had an experience like this one. It is my understanding that the home will be going under renovations in November. Maybe after some work is done the property will be back up to Rosemary standards. I would like to add that we requested to move after finding another property and the manager was unable to make any concessions. We did our best to be understanding but finally gave up.

Owner's Response: We appreciate your feedback and are very sorry you feel so strongly that this home is not up to your property standards. We work very hard to make sure our properties are up to date, immaculate and fully functioning. Please know we do have several projects going on at this property this fall and winter, some of which are replacing the upstairs carpet and the oven/stove. We are very sorry you saw a roach the first night and are glad we were able to get our contracted pest control company out the very next morning. As we assured you, they do spray all our properties quarterly and are always on call if we ever have an issue like that. We are sorry you had troubles with the ice maker, and we were happy to come over and turn in on for you. The duvets, couch and dining room chair slip covers were all changed the day of your arrival, and we were also more than happy to change them out and re-wash them again the day after your arrival. We were also happy to reclean every inch of the house the day after your arrival and are very sorry we had trouble getting rid of the "deep dirt" as you referred to it to our housekeeping manager. The faucets are all operable, you simply have to pull down on the tub spout ring to turn on the shower as we showed you. We understand you had allergy issues during your stay and as we mentioned, we do change all the duvets & inserts and HVAC filters on a very regular and scheduled basis and did change the duvets the day of your arrival and filters on 9/17, two weeks before your stay. I'm also very sorry we could not refund your money and let you move as you asked us to do repeatedly, in spite of the threats of Social Media complaints and reporting us to the local media. As we explained, we are more than happy to do any and everything we can to take care of our guests, but unfortunately, we can not refund a reservation that had been in place for many months because of allergy issues due to staying in a pet-friendly property.

What an enjoyable place to stay! The location is fantastic as Lemak is right behind N Barrett Square. The path outside the front door goes straight to Flyover H so the beach was very accessible. The cottage slept 5 of us comfortably. The bed in the inlaw suite is extremely comfortable and I slept later than expected every day of our stay! The property is obviously well loved and frequently used so it could use some minor updates. Overall we found the property to be very clean but the furniture in the main room would benefit from a good steam cleaning. One bit of feedback- the chair rental information provided by 30A Luxury Vacations is incorrect. The phone number goes to a wholesale business who are very friendly but obviously do not set up beach chairs. We just went to the kiosk on the beach for chairs so, no problem. Thank you very much for a great stay. We'll definitely keep this property in mind for future trips to Rosemary!

Overall, I will say this property 'will do' for a fun weekend at the beach. However it needs a lot of love - especially in comparison to other homes we have stayed at in Rosemary. To start with when we arrived there was a half dead roach on the floor and a horrible smell coming out of the oven/drawers in the island. The smell was so bad we had to buy a candle to make it bearable. When we went to grill out one night we opened the grill and found it was extremely dirty. The house is in a great location and honestly with a little love to the kitchen - some new pots and pans (because those smelled horrible too!!) and a fresh coat of paint it would have been incredible, however for what you are paying to stay in Rosemary this place is not worth it. I will note the management company did offer to have someone come out and clean the kitchen - however, I think it needs more than just a cleaning at this point.
