Welcome to our three bedroom, three bath and office 2800 sq. ft., two level open floor plan home away from home. The property features a west facing patio with a saltwater pool and attached spa, with amazing views of the La Quinta Dunes Golf Course 7th fairway and the Santa Rosa Mountains, located in the gated community of La Quinta Fairways.
The Master bedroom features a king bed, a large walk-in closet, gas fireplace and a 32 inch flat screen TV with a beautiful west facing balcony overlooking the patio, pool, spa and 7th fairway of the La Quinta Dunes course. The attached bath features the same view with a soaking tub, shower and his and hers sinks.
The second bedroom features a king bed with an attached bath, his and hers sinks, flat screen TV, off an east facing walled balcony shared by a third bedroom with a queen bed. The office is located on the first floor and has a desk, office supplies, WiFi (throughout the house) a single daybed and attached bath.
A washer and dryer are in a separate laundry room on the first floor. The west facing family room has a 42 inch flat screen TV, a wet bar and gas fireplace adjacent to the pool and spa. An elegant west facing dining room opens to the newly constructed (10/14) covered paved patio with surrounding misters, fire pit, outdoor seating/lounging, dining and grilling to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Outside the front door is an enclosed courtyard with a fountain and colorful plantings so one may enjoy the warm sunrise. There is a 2 1/2 car garage with openers, household equipment and two bicycles for riding inside the Fairways or a 1 1/4 mile ride to quaint Old Town La Quinta. Weekly gardening and pool services are provided. The house and grounds are beautifully maintained and fully furnished with sheets,towels, laundry items and all kitchen equipment.
The area features many golf courses, theaters, gourmet grocery stores and Old Town La Quinta for quaint shops and restaurants. For special services, Farmer's Market and an outdoor fair is close by. Gourmet grocery stores and restaurants are everywhere in the area. Within a few minutes drive---theater, many golf courses, College of the Desert, the Salton Sea, air and desert museums, a tram rising thousands of feet above the Valley floor for hiking in the snow is located in Palm Springs. Nearby is an international equestrian competition facility and polo fields. Indian Wells international tennis competition facility is nearby as well. El Paseo is a short drive for more elegant shopping and dining.
Warm sunny weather with beautiful skies-are the norm. This is a guard-gated community for added security and an ideal spot for a lovely, restful vacation.
My husband and I were very happy with the property, it is as advertised! Pre arrival correspondence with the owner was very good and informative. We were met by their very helpful and nice representative and given a tour. Loved walking east every morning to old town La Quinta for coffee. Also the weekends offered a car show, an art show and boutique shopping. Stuft pizza and The Grill and The Wine Bar were restaurants we tried and went back to in Old town La Quinta. Great grocery store (Ralphs) and another coffee shop to walk to the west. Very convenient to box stores, other dining options, great golf course restaurants too. It had a small community feeling (with big town access to shopping), very secure, quite at night and the guards at the gate were very nice too. Views of the mountains and golf course spectacular! Would go again for sure! We tried almost everything the area had to offer, even Polo (at the owners suggestion). Had oranges from the tree in side yard and grapefruit offered by other neighbors! Loved every minute of our stay in this wonderful rental.
